Yeah, I use ReVanced on Sync for Reddit (and if ReVanced wasn't around I don't think I'd use Reddit). And I have YouTube Premium... but I don't use YT Music much. Prefer using Apple Music on Android.

Apple music is poor on Pixels as they don't support Dolby Atmos. One of the only reasons to use apple music, IMO. Other androids do, Samsung, Sony, but not Google.
That's why I stuck with Spotify. Plus I have a dedicated Spotify app in my car which makes it all very easy and keeps it all in sync.

So not much more (around 350mAh more) than the Pixel 8 Pro. Will be interesting to see how they mention battery life.
also camera upgrades will be interesting, how much more can they do with them.

Thanks for the info. Now it works for me. There used to be a Revanced icon and now I have two YT icons in the icons folder.
I doubt it as that's not one of Google's design specialties. They are not like Apple that can squeeze blood from a turnip when it comes to battery life. A lot of it probably has to do with all the stuff Android runs in the background, whereas iOS seems to be better at idling stuff that's not being used.

Delivers 22nd Aug. Colours suck, but hazel looked nicest to me this time round.

But they are really not going to get a lot of people opting for the Pro models this year. The £799 priced regular Pixel 9 is going to be the one all over YT with thumbnails of "THIS IS THE ONE TO BUY!".

Part of me is tempted but not for now; I'm a case and screen protector kinda guy and the main makes aren't out yet
The wife needs a phone upgrade this year; might be worth taking advantage of the latest and seeing what prices the 8a is out for (she'll be getting the Watch 3 alongside) but doesn't use her phone for much more than calls/Whatsapp/FB and Insta doom scrolling 😂

Well, i'm eating crow. I ordered the 9 Pro XL cause I got $540 trade in for my 7 Pro that prior to the event had a trade in value of $180 and I got $200 store credit. So a $740 incentive on a $1099.

Personally think the Fold looks the most impressive this year. Almost a shame it's bundled in with all of the other devices and not standalone.
Luckily not tempted this year and sticking with my S24 Ultra.
