So is the Pixel Watch doomed to be garbage every time I buy one or is it just me? I keep setting it up, then it suddenly stops working with the Pixel Watch app then it forces me to disconnect and reset.

What am I doing wrong?

I have $350 in Google Store credits and nothing to spend it on. I can’t/won’t swap my Apple Watch Ultra for a Pixel Watch as I‘m not a fan of the Pixel Watch design and I’m not moving my main number out of my iPhone. My family, work and most friends all still use iPhones to communicate and there are just too many things that are much easier inside the Apple ecosystem (sharing photos albums, AirDropping content, Apple Messages, collaborating on files and Apple Notes) and using the Apple Watch Ultra means I don’t have to carry my iPhone that often since the watch has cellular connectivity and I can use my Pixel 9 Pro Fold for most other things.

Don’t need any Nest products or Google Buds (have AirPods Pro, Beats Fit, AirPods Max, and Beats Studio already) so gonna just sit on it for bit.
Exact situation I'm in. $350 credit and nothing to buy!

I resisted the strong urge to order the iPhone this morning. Have had every one since iPhone 4 so it is strange. I don't know why I am so happy, it feels like such an accomplishment 🤣💪.
I have only skipped the 4S and I haven't even been tempted to go look at the Apple Store this year. Essentially the same phone with a capture button or whatever they are calling it. Zero interest in this year's iphone for me.

I have to say, running the Android 15 QPRI Beta 2 is just so nice on my Pixel 9 Pro XL. Super smooth and fast, with some neat new fading blurry animation when closing apps or swiping back to the homescreen.

This beta is awesome and makes the phone feel better.

Have you run into any major bugs in your daily use with the latest beta? I'm thinking of trying it over the weekend.
I was not so strong......got a 16PM in black coming next week.
I have had every iPhone since day one.
Congrats nonetheless, will be incredibly solid. If I choose to buy one down the road it'll be after the Apple Intelligence features are completely rolled out next year. Would love to compare the final product against the Pixel AI.

I originally thought I'd go Pixel 9 Pro XL for a year but this morning I ordered a 16PM in black also and 3 cases.

I'm weak!
I will have the Pixel 9XL and 16PM. I like to have one of each platform.

resistance is futile

I actually exhibited some willpower and did not pre-order. This will be the first generation of iPhone that I don't own going all the way to the original. Gonna just stick with my 15PM.

LOL all you guys ordering new iPhone 16's too. Are you also keeping your new Pixel 9's as well? Just curious.

Personally I'm done with 2 separate phones, tried it with my Pixel 8 Pro and Galaxy S24 Ultra, and I rarely used both. I'd put one down and not touch it for weeks sometimes.

For me personally 2 different smartphones just isn't useful or needed, seems like waste. But that's just my opinion.

An iPhone or Pixel phone only? HA only one option the Google Pixel all day long, never an iPhone ever, just no reason to get an iPhone for me, due to iOS and the way it navigates and operates, not my cup of tea whatsoever, unless it's radically redesigned and overhauled, which will never happen.

But hey, different strokes, for different folks.

Sometimes I forget this is an iPhone website. I never view the main news page or the iPhone forum. Sometimes forget those exist here. I've only come to this sub forum which to me has always been Android only. So I view this site as an Android site, not an iPhone site. But then I'm reminded and shocked at all these people that still like and use iPhones.
