I am not sure I have got that long left, I can't wait to see some of these devices, I am so excited. Whether it be the Z fold 5 or the Pixel Fold, I just can't wait. Truthfully, for my time left on this earth, a complete waste of money, but, goodness me, give me a chance, let me have a go with one of them. Chemotherapy starts soon (I hope), really looking forward to it. Even my wife who is totally against these things is willing these on.

Can I just say though, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, has been the pleasure of owning, just wonderful.
Praying the chemo starts soon and is successful. Keep on fighting. Its a tough battle I know. Watching my mom go through it right now and she's had a rough go but after finally getting it dialed in her scans have improved the last two weeks and her body has handled the treatment better as well. Will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. That Pixel Fold is just around the corner and I fully expect to see your impressions here!

Same deal in Currys except no SIM.
Will receive the trade in to bank acc.

Google store is £440 and Currys is £455 for P7P.

I'm sorry to anyone having their orders pushed back an extra month. That would make me really frustrated.

Current dates for the 256 black model is July 26 - Aug 3rd

Since I haven't ordered, I may as well wait to see what the Fold5 offers since the event is on July 26th and it's expected to ship in early August.

Just checked in with Currys UK. My order 512GB is not in stock and no imminent dates given. 256GB has already been allocated stocks for launch day delivery.

My expectation management is getting better and better since dived in from P6P.

N.B I would still not change my order as it will probably push back for Sept, Oct delivery if doing so.

My delivery windows also pushed back. And with that, I’ve canceled my preorder. I’m traveling from the 6th through most of July so, that delivery window wasn’t feasible.

And Google take note, unless the Fold is a remarkable device, you’ve probably lost my sale entirely. Doubt I’ll have the same level of interest a month out of release as the ’preorder excitement’ I had at announcement. Maybe I’ll get one later if I can find a steep discount.

I think Google's mistake here was pushing delivery dates so far out even from the start.

Most of the time from pre-order to delivry is about 2 weeks maximum. People tend to lost the first initial enthusiasm if they have to wait 6 weeks for a pre-order.

I really hope the Pixel Fold is a huge sucess for Google. I love the Pixel models and the user experience they provide.

Completely agree. Products like this are almost exclusively appealing to early adopters, especially at this price so maybe they think those customers will wait regardless of the delay.

Unfortunately, long delays like this also allow some of us to weigh our options and maybe second guess dropping nearly $2K on a mobile device. ;)
