Me too. My usual impression of Scotland is clean, high resources and kind people.
Isle of Skye in Scotland is another level. Its landscape and weather is very similar to Norway.

Awesome and definitely added to my list of places to visit

Couldn’t help myself, picked up the fold at Verizon, traded in my Razr 5g for the $900 trade in offer.

So far I’m loving it, the aspect ratio is great and love that it opens in landscape. It’s been 2 days, but battery seem fine for my usage, though charging seems very slow, slower than my pixel 7.

The software is a mixed bag. UI is my favorite, but miss the additional features from the zfold. It’s funny, this phone solves all the problems I have with my z fold, and my z fold solves all my gripes about my pixel fold.

If anyone looking for a rugged case that isn’t that bulky, highly recommend this one from Amazon.

Welcome to the Pixel fold family.... We could definitely use some tweaks to the UI but overall this phone is a pleasure to use.... the case looks pretty cool too!

I'm curious what additional features are you personally missing from the ZFold?

I already know come next year... looking at it from a macro perspective, with added players in the foldable space from Google and OnePlus... Android 15 should be intriguing. The whole this one is better than the other discussion is irrelevant to me... I just want to see the companies participating bring out the best in each other.

Even Dan of MacRumors posted that YT vid today about the Pixel Fold... slab phones are becoming boring (no shade to those who still prefer them).

Well, I'm sold on the PF. Finally, I got a chance to check it out. Obviously, the cover screen is superb. But, the inside screen is excellent, too. Even though I'm keeping my Fold 4 for the next year, when the PF2 arrives, I will probably get it. My one regret is that it doesn't have stylus (not yet) support. I love my spen.

Sure, the ability to have 3 multi tasking windows, the ability to have separate homescreen layouts for the outer display and inner display, the ability to have floating windows, the ability to save multi window layouts, the ability to force apps to full screen, dex support, spen support, and the hardware just has some more polish and a tighter fit and finish.

For the Pixel, I like the UI look and feel better of stock Android though, the aspect ratio of the screens are far better, I like opening to widescreen better, flex mode is more useful too because the aspect ratio as well.

That's quite a bit. But in regards to floating windows... it appears you can do that under Developer mode.

Yeah, I can't wait for Samsung to make some changes to the aspect ratio on their foldable.. because once they make changes to the outer display, it will result in changes to the inner display as well.

I also prefer Samsung OS and was hoping the ZF5 would be redesigned. I watched the leaks and rumors of the ZF5 and was full on ready to cancel my Pixel Fold pre-order but after seeing it's the same old 4+ year old phone design I decided to stick with the PF..

So far, the PF has been awesome. I love the normal'ish phone sized cover display that's actually usable. I do miss Samsung OS as I've never been a fan of Google's 'stock' OS that is not very customizable but I'll take the better design of the Pixel Fold for now.

Hopefully next year the ZF6 ditches the tall and skinny design and goes for something better.. If they do, I'll sell the PF and order it instantly..

So, I think that I am close to returning my unit for complicated reasons. But before I do that, I wanted to ask if anyone else also hasn’t gotten any ads in the default YouTube app on this phone?

At first I thought it might be YouTube Premium coming bundled in for X amount of time, but it also works in incognito mode and I still get ads on the same account on other devices, so it’s definitely something to do with the app on this device
