Did you try yet?
I was just browsing the permissions of the app ..Not yet but will try it later for sure
Instagram, Reddit and x for me would be useful to use without needing to try other formats like portrait.

Had me thinking the same thing haha.. but then again I wonder what other apps we have downloaded already that have those same access even though on the bottom it says you could disable in the settings...Some of those are concerning lol

Here's Chrome lolTrue there’s tons that are using stuff. One of those where you rather not know lol
Here's Chrome lol
I think Hermit is the least of our worries lmfaoHa and I use chrome all the time at work.
Facebook and threads are even worse lol. Don’t use either much though anymore
I think Hermit is the least of our worries lmfao
Yes sirExactly
Will give it a try as least don’t need to switch to portrait. Not a big deal but be nice for it to stay consistent with other apps
Are you comparing the photos by viewing them on the same device? Looking at each of them on their respective screens introduces potential differences do to the different displays on each phone. So I kept getting the feeling my fold photos did not pop as much as my pixel 6 pro. I took a pic indoors of my daughter with a orange shirt and it looks orange on my Pixel 6 but like a light orange almost pink on fold. Why is that? Smaller sensors and less light?
Hmmm yeah I was looking at them on their respective screensAre you comparing the photos by viewing them on the same device? Looking at each of them on their respective screens introduces potential differences do to the different displays on each phone.
tried it and works well on all. reddit seems abit slow though. I've got X, reddit, instagram in a folder just for when I unopen and use the main apps when the fold is shut. I think it's a great workaround to be fair.Yes sir
No but it's rumoured pixel 8 series might.Does it have something like the DEX mode on Samsung to use it like a computer?

I've gone back to main pixel launcher as the taskbar just isn't staying there and to be fair i like how widgets look on the pixel launcher. suits how i would want it as well. not having taskbar working is too much of an issue as it's a big part of the multitasking.
I've not noticed any yet but I agree we need to see if these guys get on board that's going to be a big thing..Those of you that have the Fold, have you noticed any of the major apps get updates to include a tablet UI layout yet?
I think that’s going to be the big thing to watch. Are these app devs actually taking this seriously?
hows your battery life? don't think the app is effecting it but will see. been on 5G all day and on 44% and it says i'm on 2 hours, 21 mins screen time.I've noticed the same thing a few times with slow moving or loading .. Instagram sometimes loads really slow on it so I'm going to keep an eye on it but right now I have Twitter Instagram Threads and Reddit... Totally understand on the launcher I don't mind taskbar popping up..if I'm in an app small swipe but definitely needs better support on 3rd party launchers .. hopefully we get some useful software updates... Overall I'm really happy though with the interaction with the phone
I will test some more today ...didn't add it till late in the day when you posted...I got almost 6 hr SOT overall with 12% left when I threw it on the charger for the eveninghows your battery life? don't think the app is effecting it but will see. been on 5G all day and on 44% and it says i'm on 2 hours, 21 mins screen time.
My battery life was about the same as yours until I installed the 14 Beta. Plus you know, the first couple days an Android phone gets terrible battery life. It usually takes about a week to settle in.hows your battery life? don't think the app is effecting it but will see. been on 5G all day and on 44% and it says i'm on 2 hours, 21 mins screen time.
