after pairing just quit, then open up Bluetooth in system preferences and follow the steps in the attachment and voila

Update: Tried again this morning on the iPhone, works! I must have done something slightly different last night (it was 2am, so... ). Thanks! I can ping the phone (can't ping THROUGH the phone for some reason, but I'm on a call right now, so it may be playing with me. I suspect it'll now work for the headset too once I'm not using it.

Update2: Fully confirmed - worked perfect. I must have updated the name and not the services last night. Worked for both tether and headset.

Understanding your environment isn't my environment, I'm authenticating fine to an AirportExpress and TimeCapsule via WPA2 (unfortunately don't have an Extreme).

Can you run this:

/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Apple80211.framework/Versions/A/Resources/airport -s

... and reply back as to what auth protocol your AE is setup for?

Example:

I don't think it's a regional thing. That download service throttles non-pro users. It took me over an hour here in the US. It's the cost of 'free'.

Wish I had a place with enough bandwidth to mirror it. Just know I'd blow my limits the moment I did.

I have blue tooth problem here.
My MacBookPro 2,2 can't switch on/off bluetooth normally.
And ReportCrash keep producing crash logs as attachment.

10.8 supports the 6570 - but I guess it's just the 3rd party element that messes it up. I'm running both the 7300GT & 6570 over two lanes at 8x right now. Using the 7300GT in OS X & the 6570 in Windows (which isn't ideal).

Has anybody tried a GT640 w/ success? Looks like I'll be on the lookout for either one of them or an official 5770.

Anothe Mac Pro 1,1 fail

Got to the efi boot option for install partition finally. Just freezing up with that spinning black circle for like 15 min now. Is this just the installer being transferred from app folder to this new install drive?

Me too.
Mac Pro 1,1 running 10.7.5 with Apple HD 5770. Black spinner eventually stopped spinning ( but remained on screen ) but no further progress.

I Try to install ML with MLpostfactor 0.2.2 & 0.3, but is impossible, I try install 10.8, 10.8.1, 10.8.2, 10.8.3 and 10.8.4 with same results:

I follow the tutorial, clean installs, make both partitions, apply the MLpost application.. everything it's ok till I reboot with hold option key, sellect EFIBOOT option , begin to install but only see the grey apple logo and the black spining wheel, and don't go to the next step. in a few moments mouse appears but desappears in the next 5 seconds, but don't advance and no sound HD doing nothing, and don't initialize to ML install.

I wait 5 to 20 minutes and nothing, power off the machine and repeat with the same results, I reset PRAM, moving the SATA drive into 4 slots, i probe with full of my 14 GB of RAM and 8 or just 4 GB, nothing is fine

My configuration:

MacPro 1.1
System : Lion 10.7.5
Ram : 14 GB
HD: various types of SATA drives
VIDEO: Apple ATI 5770
Upgrade CPU: to 5355 XEON 2'66 Mhz with 8 cores


with lion all work perfect without problems....

I don't know what's happend, anybody can help me ??????????

today I did a clean install of MLPostFactor 0.3 with OSX 10.8.4 on my Mac Mini Mid 2007.

While most of the procedure ran smoothly (besides the "system does not reboot after installation"-problem) I have no audio and the transparent-dock-problem which was also known with MLPostFactor 0.2.

I can work around the audio issue with an external audio device but I'd prefer the internal one to work. Any ideas?


(on the other side, my iMac Late 2006 works flawlessly with 0.3 on 10.8.4! Thank you!)

I own an early 2009 Macbook (without the pro), which is upgraded to the full 3GB of RAM the system supports.

And it runs pretty smooth with Mountain Lion. Just do it, it's a no-brainer as it's officially supported!

Not only my Audio is currently not working on my Mac Mini Mid 2007 (as stated above, black dock meanwhile fixed using the old, known fix), but screen sharing only provides a black screen to me.

While Teamviewer provides a working solution, I'd love my Screen Sharing to work too. Any hints?

This is exactly the same problem as I have just had. Tried multiple times with the same outcome. (Trying to boot into the EFI partition and getting stuck on the Apple spinning wheel.)

Specs:

3.0Ghz Quad
13GB RAM
HD 5770
Multiple HD's

Confirmed AMD Radeon 5XXX and 6XXX to be problematic. Added to known bug list. Fixes on the way

MacBook3,1 10.8.4 no problems

Yeah! MacBook3,1 (C2D late 2007), so far flawless on 10.8.4!

- iCloud ok
- iMessage ok
- NO glitches/flickering with Safari (6.0.5)
- X3100 Dual monitor ok
- AFP & Bonjour ok (Synology NAS and Epson MFP)

I had one hiccup when installing, after MLPF on Install (only <1GB applied to Install partition), did not see Install (EFI Boot) on restart. For me solutions was to once activate the original Apple OSX 10.8 Install App from within Lion, which off course failed, and after that the MLPF installation was ok (about 7GB applied to Install partition), and I could see the EFI Boot partition on reboot.
