Hi guys, Thanks for the update.

Just to report:

In the Keyboard Settings, when I change the 'Delay Until Repeat', if i move the slider all the way to the right and hold down a key, it doesn't repeat the key in succession.

Other than that, it's great!

I can't wait until I can run my computer in FULL 64 bit via 64 bit GMA 950 drivers that you guys found.

When I try to install ML from the Install Application Folder, I get this error message.

Any ideas on how to get around this?

I have a 2012 MBP and still download v0.22 or v0.3 because i want to keep my older machines as up to date as possible. So far I prefer v0.22 because it has fewer problems.

Recovery Partition

I have a problem with recovery partition :/
For some reason it is still Lion recovery partition - it hasnt been updated so i can't use Find my Mac :/
Any sugestions?

MLPOSTFACTOR doesn't create or updates recovery partition (AFAIK).
I created mine using carbon copy cloner and it is still a LION recovery partition but it WORKS. Something else wrong in your side, I presume.

Help please...i've already asked and i'm really sorry to repeat but can't figure out what to do...my mac is now running 10.8.3 that i had installed with mlpfv0.2.2 ...so if i want to update to 10.8.4 i 've already have the new mlpf v0.3 but when i open it it asks for os version,but in my applications folder i have the 10.8.0 install os x mountain lion,so what version do i choose there????and one more question,is this an update or i will lose all my apps and data on the ml partition???thank you and sorry again...

1. MLPF WILL NOT SUPPORT UPDATING. Regardless what to what. 10.8.5 comes out. CLEAN INSTALL. NO UPDATES ARE SUPPORTED!

2. Links are DOWN. Post#1 is being updated. Please be patient. (Do not send me any more emails regarding on these 2 things)

3. Mac Pro are currently UNSUPPORTED due to a bug in ATI/AMD graphics card support. Nvidia ones are not affected.

Well here is the proces i used
I have Lion installed, used postfactor 0.22 to install 10.8.3 - and when i sing in iCloud i cant use Find my Mac - recovery partition requiered, althoug Lion recovery partition is there :/

I was trying to see if any of the downloads work on the website since half of the website's pages don't work and the only link for a download that works is the one on the installation page. None of the links on the download page work. I also download and keep a copy of everything backed up, because many times there are older versions that have more features and work better. I was trying to get a copy of v.22 64Bit.

I have just spent the weekend setting up my MacBook 3,1 with Mountain Lion 10.8.4, and I have to say - I'm impressed! Other than the well documented SMB issue, everything seems to work perfectly. I have now removed all but the ML partition and intend to happily use 10.8.4 until I replace my computer in a couple of years.

Which brings me to my point. You have made me happy again with a computer that is nearly 6 years old. Because of your hard work I no longer wish to spend ~£1000 on a new mac. For this you have my respect and appreciation.

So if it's not possible to update from 10.8.3 to 10.8.4 how can i install the 10.8.4 with a clean install??I have to delete the 10.8.3 ml partition and start from the 10.7.5??I'm so sorry to ask again but it's not clear at all...

It means download the new version of mountain lion (the app, not the update), run mlpf on your install partition, erase your mountain lion partition, and reinstall.

I made it,at the end it was easier than i thought,from the ML 10.8.3 i ran the mlpfv0.3 install it to install partition,then made the 10.8.4 update,restart to install partition ,ran the mlpf from utilities and install the mlpfv0.3 to ml partition it's like an update,data and all apps are just there isight is working and keyboard led is working normally!!!only thing is that i can't still log in to messages (maybe i'm the only one who has still problem with this) but everything else works perfectly... thank you so much !!!!!

Smooth sailing

I have to agree with indiecraig; I performed a clean install of 10.8.4 on an upgraded iMac 4,1 and a MacBook 2,1 and four upgraded Mac Mini 4,1 units and all went smoothly. I'm very happy with MLPF 0.3 and how easy it is to use/install.
I did use createRecoveryHDUpdater.command to create a (mostly useless) 10.8.4 Recovery Partition just to make Find My Mac happy.
