OnePlus did a real good job with this Open.
Nonsense. Nothing wrong with the bezels.Look at the bezels on it... you'd think it was 2013.
Check out those top and bottom bezels tho. Would you accept thin bezels if it meant Apple put the Dynamic Island on the iPad?The bezels in the old iPads were slimmer on the sides and had to issues when holding. View attachment 2299225
Wow, how is the race of the company's owners a factor in your assessment? While there is a lot for me to like here (RAM, Peak nits, 239g weight, multitasking approach, barely noticeable crease, overall size, fast charger in the box, etc.) I just can't buy a OnePlus phone for three reasons:
1. Chinese company
2. Past record of hardware and software issues
3. Probably the worst support in the game
I almost pulled the trigger just to give it a shot, but I know better.
And you promise to never buy a folding phone from Apple? Even if a bunch of family members and friends get one? Maybe you’re right and eventually the industry goes in a different direction (implants?), but I say always keep an open mind for everything including technology. Don’t just say it’s stupid and pointless until you have experienced that feeling after trying out what Apple may eventually offer.folding phones are stupid and pointless. just stop.
Nice try!! You almost had me there. 🤣Wow, how is the race of the company's owners a factor in your assessment?
That you went straight to race, instead of nationality, says a lot.Wow, how is the race of the company's owners a factor in your assessment?
I was just making a point about the hold-ability of devices with thin bezels. People accepted Dynamic Island and a huge notch on iPhones with a much smaller screen than an iPad though.Check out those top and bottom bezels tho. There is a difference in how you hold the phone, which is why it can have much smaller bezels.I was just making a point about the hold-ability of devices with thin bezels. People accepted Dynamic Island and a huge notch on iPhones with a much smaller screen than an iPad though.
The appeal is the extra real estate. That is the whole point. It just seems like one more thing to do. Why would I want to open my phone all the time? other then real estate what is the appeal?
Remember back when iPhone users didn't see the appeal of phablets.I will never see the appeal of these awkward folding phones.
Chinese is not a race. It could be either a nationality or ethnicity, but not a race.Wow, how is the race of the company's owners a factor in your assessment?
