Well, he's here and he says he wasn't in Andover yesterday, either. :p
Well, he did look like he was on something (aren't they all?), so I'm guessing he just doesn't know he was here. Either that or he's just lying to you. Damned celebrities.

there's something not right about this thread. "have you ever met any celebs?" anyone swept up in the 'celeb' thing has serious issues as far as i'm concerned. respect people, sure. but to me the concept of 'celebrity' is now value-loaded with superficiality. if you had said 'great people' i would have been more interested.

back in NYC!
A prank from the Jamie Kennedy Expirement was filmed at my house, so I met Jamie Kennedy.

I didn't get to see the actual taping of the prank though .

If anyone is curious it was the one where the cheerleaders were told to come to an old lady's birthday, but it turned out to be a funeral, but they cheered anyways. The old lady's supposed body ended up on a motor scooter, and fell off because the preacher threw a football at her  :p .

It was actually pretty funny.

My uncle is a car salesman and sold a car to Emril on a Sunday when the dealership was closed. He invited me to come over and meet Emril. So I have autographs and pictures/cookbooks. :)

I met Matt Damon at my beach resort.
I met Josh Gracin, REO Speedwagon, and Shania Twain at their concerts.
and I came very close Britney Spears...I was so close. :(

Ok, I'll share

Off the top of my head...

Gene Simmons (Really nice in person)
Dave Mustaine (asked me if I had any pot. I didn't)
King Diamond (Not nearly as evil and scary as you would think :D)
Ronnie James Dio (The best metal singer ever, and super nice. Class act)
Ken Foree (Peter - Dawn of the Dead)
Tom Savini (Special Effects artist - Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th etc.)
Scott Reiniger (Roger - Dawn of the Dead)
Bill Hinzman (The first zombie seen in Night of the Living Dead)

As you can see, I'm into metal and horror movies. I've seen MANY others at assorted concerts and comic/horror conventions, but I haven't actually talked to them.

Oh, and on my honeymoon flight to Maui I was in first class with Kenny G (very short, and surprisingly muscular) and Minnie Driver. And when I was in Maui I saw Tyra Banks in a restaurant. She was stunning.

Funny story, my Mother-in-law has had various celebrities in and out of her office building. She shared an elevator with Howard Stern and didn't recognize him. How can you NOT recognize Howard Stern! She also had William Shatner in her conference room and didn't recognize him either. Both times she was told who they were after the fact. And she met Dan Marino and got me his autograph because she knows I like football, but she didn't know who he was. (I think he played for some team in Florida right? :D )

NINA HARTLEY.

i attended a conference and she gave a couple of lectures... for the younger folks, she started off as a stripper but ended up in the p0rn industry and she is considered one of the greatest stars. we spoke for like, 30 mins after one of her lectures and I got a picture w/ her.... she even called me a "bit*h" in the nicest possible way (in that industry, it is often quite the loveable pet name you use for those you like).

how do i post my picture?? n/m i got it...

Also bumped into Delroy Lindo (actor in Romeo Must Die, Gone in 60 Seconds, etc.) and Victor Wooten (one of the greatest bass players alive, also tours w/ Bela Fleck and the Flecktones)

My Uni have just awarded Goldie an honorary degree, he accepted it at the awards dinner a few weeks back, but he's been over to the office a few times to talk about lectures and master classes. Good bloke, very keen to give something back to the students.

Richard O'Brian, the Rocky Horror Show writer, was also presenting that night, he gave a very funny speech while awarding prizes and was refreshingly bright amidst a sea of stultifying academic bollocks, good man to have dinner with. The lady he was with was the great-great-granddaughter of the Russian General who defeated Napoleon... There's history for you... (sorry, I've forgotten her name)

Finally from the archives: I trained with Steven Segal in Paris 5 or 6 years ago, he does a few courses every year for charity, and we got to spend a weekend being chucked around the mat by him and his boys... Crap actor, incredible martial artist, fastest hands I've ever seen.
