C&C welcome

used 5 RAW files and photomatix for this,
wanted to make the sky kinda nasty & moody, needs a little tweaking but getting there, it was taken with my old D70s and sigma 10-20mm lens,.......

I would say you succeeded, if you do process it more please post the results. Its an excellent shot, love to see what else you can make of it. :)

I concur, I bet that must amazing to see IRL, watching the fog roll by and what not...

Pseudo-HDR from one image. Just messing around in Photoshop.

So how did you go about this psuedo HDR? A little Topaz Adjust? or you just really good with curves? Do tell. I'm always looking for new ways to tweak my images to my liking.

Just a some tweaking and messing in Topaz Adjust. The picture was taken at Hearst Castle in San Simeon, CA. Didn't have a tripod with me to take bracketed shots. =(

I was browsing your flickr, that Castle looks quite intriguing, definitely on my list of things to do next time i visit Cali.

Oh yeah it's definitely a cool place to check out. They have a "Through the Lens" tour that will take you to certain places to take awesome shots and the tour ends at sunset by the Neptune Pool. They weren't offering that tour yet when I went lol

Ya, im totally sold. I was just in Costa Mesa this weekend, but now i have a great reason to get back to cali. Maybe this weekend, or next. I live in Vegas so its not too bad of a drive, unless this Castle is in Norcal. Speaking of, off to google to do some research. Thanks again for sharing, and now i cant wait to get there.

Barcelona

Noob HDrer. The pics here are gorgeous. I processed this pic using Photomatix, then did the final tweaks using Aperture 2. I've been doing that for almost all my HDR since I have no idea what's going on when I use Photoshop CS3:eek:
