Imagine carrying that box out into the parking lot... with the commemorative shopping bag, especially if you live in one of the seedy areas of the U.S.

Did that a few years ago with a new iMac. At one of our better malls and still got looks and stares. Next time I'll ask for a security escort, or at minimum something to make the box not so obvious.

Looks like Apple threw out their environmentally friendly Paper and Packaging Strategy with the Vision Pro's packaging 🤣

To protect the environment for the future, Apple said three priorities guide its efforts:

1. Reduce impact on climate change by using renewable energy sources and driving energy efficiency in products and facilities.

2. Conserve precious resources by using materials efficiently, using more recycled and renewable content in products, and recovering material from products at the end of their life.
"Virtue signaling is not virtue.
Athens signaled their virtues and murdered Socrates." Bubba Satori

"Until now, the size and design of the box has been unknown."

These Apple guys are magicians. They kept the six sided box a secret? Amazing times.

oh that’s too damn big lmao. they should’ve done a double box design similar to the Apple Watches.

I’m not buying it yet anyway, but such a big box is a turnoff. 😂

These will be worth something to collectors some day. If you have the money and can get your hands on a few you could make some money long term. Of course, it will be a very niche thing. AR will be ubiquitous and far superior to this tech in not too long, so it will only be for collectors...but people will collect them. No one is going to want these to actually use in the distant future when they will be worth mucho dinero.

There is an Apple employee in each box who jumps up on the box with a confetti tube and says thank you for your purchase. This is why the Vision Pro is so expensive. Tim Cook is also in one of them.

Do we get to keep the employee if we decide the Vision Pro is crap and want to return it? They can wave my Mac around in the air and I’ll have the experience without the cost.

Hope UPS isn't doing a drop and run like they do with many Apple shipments these days.

Ah don’t worry, I’m sure you can select Uber as a delivery option!
