I may have exaggerated the percentage a bit but my point still stands. Vast majority of people could give 2 ***** about torrents on a phone.

millions and millions of people care enough to download the apps. I dont think we should ban things just because the majority of people dont use it. This also includes tablets, many people would use it on ipad

youve exaggerated the percentage a ton

I dont think we should ban them either. What im saying is apple will not add features just to have them.
You go outside and I bet if you stop and ask the first 50 people you see none will know what a torrent even is.

There is an alternative and thats android. For the average joe IOS is still the go to os imo.

What average joe? Stop insulting people based on your ignorance.

yep, apple censors apps available on ios devices

you must appease the gatekeeper, that is not freedom

In this case rightfully.

Its not like apple is holding you hostage, there are other phones that allow this...

No? You imply that somehow android using people are superior to iOS users.

Only if we could make a super phone with IOS/Androud together. that would be nice.

I think jailbroken iOS is almost perfect (just needs the ability to downgrade the OS - again, more freedom), if only it didnt require hacks and apple would sell it to me that way out of the box

Time, because it rules EVERYTHING!
apple and IBM focusing on iot and healthcare. Seems like a powerful innovative duo to me Along with a lot of action integrating medical devices into apps that can aggregate this data. So again, seems innovative to me.

It's not innovative, it's Apple data mining your health which no one seems to realise? And passing that data on to organisations investigating a health issue.
Asking users to enter information into their Apple device, or allowing it to track them using sensors or systems that are not new isn't innovative either.

That's actually the main point I was demonstrating, that something was picked on mainly because it was an Apple feature and nothing more.

Ah I see, Ok, I'll ONLY ever discuss NON Apple products on this site then, this MACRUMORS APPLE FAN SITE that is... just to keep you happy :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:o_O
As I said, your comment made no sense at all. And you are now attempting to be clever by stating you were highlighting how stupid it was to discuss an Apple feature on an Apple fan and news website forum?

[doublepost=1466021590][/doublepost]
Yep, switchers rarely ever to Android, hence Android continues to eat away at iOS and Windows Mobile share globally
http://www.phonearena.com/news/Kant...are-from-Apples-iOS-and-Windows-Phone_id82233.

Thanks for a good laugh. :)

You threw a lot of blank statements, none of them fact, all of them your opinion from the top to the bottom.

By the way, I can afford a iPhone 6S Plus 128GB many times over, yet I am typing this on a Galaxy Note 4, Android phone, there are millions like me, and believe it or not, not all of us want iPhones...... Yes I know! Shock, Horror!!!

Whhhaaattttt?????? :eek::eek::eek:

You actually MEAN you ARE well off and yet you CHOOSE to NOT buy an iPhone!! I am disgusted in you sir, you are brining down the snobby stuck up elitist feeling iPhone user must have, they need it to justify the cost! You need to understand this and someone in a position to buy many of them I encourage you to do so at once!

It is your duty to be seen with that fruit logo on your mobile communications device of choice! A duty to all other iPhone users that believe it makes them above everyone else, because it gives the allure they are rich and powerful and trendy..!!!

apple doesnt have to add them, just allow them

itransmission works on jb ios no problemo, doesnt work great in the background, but nonetheless

A lot of confusion around bittorrent which is a great software delivery method to avoid choke points. For example, Windows 10 now has the option to use the equivalent for OS updates. It's also used to deliver software and OS' like Linux. It's about as silly as claiming guns are only for criminals and ignoring the fact that police also carry them.

Who knows Apple may allow it eventually. I doubt it for the near future.

It really seemed like you got it, but apparently not, unless you are just twisting it all for the sake of doing it. Anyway, seems like it's a lost cause.

Not normal people but apologists. Reminds me when they use to proclaim that there's no need for more than 3.5" and that 5.5" was like holding a piece of toast up to your head. Ironic that now they hold a bigger pizza slice 5.5" with huge bezels and think it's great. :D

I want to upgrade from my piece of toast to a big pizza slice but with mostly meat and toppings and not too much bread so a 6" SAMOLED screen with minimal bezel would be ideal.

And so are the American courts.
It certainly seems more that you just seemed to ignore it (on purpose or not) and use the "no sense" as a way to cover for that. But, again, in any case, nothing more to really add there beyond what was already said given that it isn't going to go anywhere anyway.
