Why not just return it back to Apple?

I will return it back to Apple however I’m going to offer it to sell to somebody on the forum if they wanna buy it for what I paid for plus shipping. I can sell it to somebody who is waiting for this or who wants it and can’t get it. I’m just trying to help somebody out who doesn’t wanna wait four weeks to get this watch because that’s what Apple shipping timeframe is presently for this model. Hermes doesn’t even have these in stock they’re on back order.

I don’t think I’m ever gonna love a band like I do this the indigo/rouge rallye. So worth having to buy a scratched up s4 to get it!

Whats the deployment clasp like? I see its more expensive than the band it looks exactly like but has a clasp? Does it latch differently or do you still use the holes to buckle it like the 339$ ones? Thank you

The metal clasp is quality enough but definitely not worth $200. Reminiscent of the link bracelet butterfly clasp but lighter.

It has the same buckle as regular Hermes but the idea is you never have to unbuckle it, preserving the leather better.

If anyone is looking to buy a watch in store, I was just at the Hermes in Crystals in Las Vegas last week. They had every model/band in stock. I picked up a SS 44mm w/ single tour etoupe band.

Makes for fast and easy on/off and less risk of dropping watch since it’s already around your wrist before tightening. The only drawback besides cost is the buckle area is thicker compared to a simple pin buckle. With a simple pin buckle you can lay your hand almost completely flat on a table, almost as if your not wearing a watch.

Could you transfer the deployment buckle to another Hermes band?

Like let's say in 5 year your current leather band is really beat up. Could you transfer it to a new band without having to remove stitching?

There was talk on here that the Hermes store will do it for you...and you definitely see them on fake or non-canon color leather on eBay...

Yes I saw another member post in here that he got the clasp on a indigo/craie/orange. It looked gorgeous.

I prefer the deployment clasp since it literally snaps into place. I also feel it is more comfortable to wear. It is similar to wearing my Rolex. I have it in the Noir and Ebene. I would buy the deployment over the regular band any day. It’s less wear and tear on the band putting it on and taking it off. I think the Lux Group on eBay sells any band with the deployment clasp.

There is a flathead screw that attaches to the deployment strap. Remove the screw and attach to the new band. If your new band has a buckle attached you can remove it by compressing the spring bar that holds the buckle.
Sounds easy, a Hermès store wouldn’t have to send it out. We could wait to have it done?

Where is the spring bar? I’m not mechanically inclined, is it easy enough to do? Any special tools? I called an Hermès store and they are going to get back to me. The person on the phone said nobody has requested this to be done.

I have one with the Attelage band...I LOVE it!!! View attachment 961844
I’ve been stalking the Apple store for days now... weeks I suppose..

it was temp there and then it was unavailable for pickup and shipping and now it’s just unavailable for shipping but pickup in my area is no go.

I’m pretty close to just saying fk it and wait for a few months when it’s more aplenty.

maybe they’ll also update with colors. I saw on another forum they have this in orange for default.

I believe the attelage in orange is available only in B&M Hermes stores.

They might finally have me shop in store then!

I’ve only picked up in store or have it sent to me at the office.

they’ve switched from their silver foil to the regular fedex white recently...

I always love how they throw tons of small Hermès perfume samples.

I’m so excited today! Just received the two Hermès bands I bought from Japan via Buyee. Super fast delivery, 2 business days only and immaculate packaging.

Brand new Bleu lin/craie/Bleu nord for US$329
View attachment 963337

Used but good condition indigo/craie/orange for US$250.

Nice! I was too slow to buy the indigo/craie when it was being offered by Apple. I found one at an auction site but paid more than you for just the band. Great find!!!
