I’ve been trying to hunt for pictures on wrist of both the noir DT in 40mm, as well as the slimmer attelage fauve DT in 40mm...

but the one unbox vid I found is from a husband unboxing his wife’s noir DT and she doesn’t try it on ??.

does anyone have these two yet and can be kind enough to take pic so I can see? I’m trying to decide. The double noir has a shipping date pretty close (a couple weeks) but still no pick up in local store.

the attelage is not available to order yet, but apple chat says (While not able to tell me exactly when) soon.

I also just purchased my first apple watch. I'm a fairly thin guy with small wrists (6.25") and got the 40mm. I hope this is the right size for my wrists not being able to try them on in store and spending this much money makes me a bit nervous. I hope the Hermes version is worth it, I got the orange leather band, I love the SBSS but having lugs that don't match if I change the strap turned me off that version a bit. Does anyone here regret going Hermes vs. the regular stainless steel?

I’m about 5.8” (so just under 6” for circumference) and 40mm fits snug (but not cutting plastered to my skin tight) with the third hole from the smallest. Still have 4 other holes to expand to... you should be ??.

Agreed, why all colours can't be available for both sizes confuses me, the lack of a deployment clasp on the 40mm is also unfortunate.
Generally, the more “feminine” bands are available in 40mm (though Hermès is now offering a 44mm Double Tour strap), while the “masculine” bands are available in 44mm. “Unisex” bands are available in both sizes.

I have the Hermès Indigo (purple blue)/Craie (cream) with Orange keeper band and the Ébène Barénia (dark brown) with Deployment Buckle, along with Apple's Brushed Stainless Steel Link bracelet, which of the aluminum colors do you think would go best with the above 3 bands?

If it was just between silver aluminum and space grey aluminum, which color do you think would go best with the above 3 bands?

I missed what size/color combo you're looking for ... but if you order from the Hermès web site, you CAN order size/color combos that aren't available on apple.com.

The one I KNOW of is the 40/44mm Double Tour models.

EDIT for size mistake.

For the Indigo/craie/orange go for silver - don't forget the "silver" lugs...
"hermes indigo craie orange" on google finds one picture from an australian aftermarket site (cough...) with the space grey watch. That does not look that tempting...

You Hermes AW owners are making me drool! I will get one eventually. I picked up the natural Titanium S6 today and am loving it. But I do lurk around this thread to check out all the goodness :)
Go halfway house? I am on day 11 of my first Apple Watch, a 40mm SB Titanium s6. About 40 minutes ago I pressed the button on an online order for a Hermes black single tour to go with it. It arrives tomorrow. Can’t wait. Unless it disappoints, which I think is unlikely, I am pretty sure that at the very least more Hermes straps lie in my future and probably at least one full Hermes Edition watch package at some point.

I’m loving the whole Apple Watch concept so much (why did I wait this long before jumping in?) that I’m definitely on the buy-each-new-generation-on-release-day track for at least the next couple of years if not longer. What with a new iPhone almost every year and a new iPad most years my annual “Apple tax” has just gone up again with Apple Watch added to the list ?

Can someone explain the AppleCare+ for an Hermès watch to me? Says $4.99/month or $149 for 24 months of coverage. If I pay monthly over 24 months it’s $30 cheaper then paying in full. Is that right? Thanks in advance

Great - thanks for the pic. THIS could be one of the double tours, that work for me too. I usually find them too much "stuff" around my wrist...
I have a very small wrist & this feels great on & not as bulky as the regular double tour...although I love that one also.

This is what ive noticed with my crown. If I dont scroll it for awhile, it kinda stiffens up. Then after scrolling a second or two its very fluid.

Cant seem to remember this from my SS series 4 but im sure its normal?

Congratulation! Yeah, the Titanium Edition AW is a "gateway drug" of sorts to the premium offerings for sure. Apple knows that there a segment of folks who do appreciate the better craftsmanship and more exclusive materials in the higher shelf line, despite the inners all being the same as the entry level models.

The S6 AWs are mature products. They feel snappy and with features such as AOD makes them look and feel like the mechanical watches I used to wear. The Edition ones stand out from the crowd. I look forward to putting on mine on each day. I've had the S0 SS since back in 2016 and the S4 SBSS. Like you said, there is a cult following and you just can't have just one. Enjoy your new SBTi and please share pics of your new Hermes AW once you get it.

The crown behaves slightly different on all my three Apple watches (S3/S4/S5). My S4 does have a somewhat softer feeling, pressing the crown, which does not go a way, but it works as it should. There is a thread here about "cleaning" the crown with unwaxed thin dental floss, if there is some stain sticking underneath the crown. Some people WARN, doing that, but as long as you do not force anything, try to do, what you do, cleaning your teeth. I do it sometimes...
