I wear my s/m band on the 4th hole from the dead end of the strap (not towards the watch face). I am also thinking about going with the 40mm, but kind of used to the 44mm face and not sure whether it will be a wise decision to get a smaller face now..

Forgot to say that its quite a loose fit at the 4th hole. I prefer my watches to be loose rather than a tight fit

I wear the Sport Bands just like you (4th = middle hole on the S/M part) and I have a few 44 Hèrmes bands that I wear on the last hole (i.e. as tight as possible) just fine. But you can also get another hole punched if you go to an Hèrmes store/boutique.

Is it possible to use the single tour noir band as a replacement down the road with the deployment buckle? or is it too difficult to properly install into the deployment buckle or not at all able to. Thinking of keeping the single tour that comes with the series 6, for the purposes of replacing it down the road and using it after it ages.thank you all in advance.

It's absolutely possible. I see deployant clasps for sale quite often and if you're adventurous you can install it yourself. I believe a Hermès shop can do it for you as well.

Not the stunning rouge casaque I had picked out from the Birkin archives but who can say no to a nice rich ruby? My Apple ad butterfly hand pose is a little rusty, you’ll have to forgive me.

Thanks so much! The stock photos make it seems like there is a little hint of pink/rose in there. Thanks for posting!
Ooh yeah I see what you mean, that’s totally just some overzealous white (CGI?) light up top there. Def just saw the word rouge and ordered...good to go back and compare.

Great chart! Would make a nice poster.

Someone else can correct me if I’m wrong as I never considered the SBSS S5 or S6 but I never remember any other SBSS band other than Nior with black hardware.

There are a lot of modded or counterfeit Hermes made bands out there.

And as far as I’m aware, there is no orange attelage either.

Bandbreite did admit their database may not be 100% perfect and they have a section for users to submit feedback. If something seems fishy with their data, I would listen to your gut.

got an answer from the ebay seller of the ebene with sbss hardware:

“We have custom made this from two original Hermes bands. Ebene deployment and Noir Single Tour. All original leather and hardware from factory original bands.”

i’m not sure if that makes it worth more or less in my mind. but it’s tempting.

bandbreite doesn't list the black hardware option for the ebene, nor do they list an ebene without the deployment buckle.

bandbreite also references an orange attelage. can't find any reference to that anywhere else.

And as far as I’m aware, there is no orange attelage either.

Hey there! Maybe the database is not 100%, but we're very close. About 99,9%. ??. You're always welcome to submit a report, or drop me a line. I try to verify the new information (if not already done), and I am happy to change it or to add it in the app and on the chart in no time then. It helps everyone, and works really well so far for the very few cases needed (see release notes on our website).

This happened exactly with the Single Tour/Double Tour Attelage in Orange. The bands are only available at selected Hermès stores, I couldn't even find them on the webpage. This might be the case for more bands from Hermès, which just never made it online, neither at Hermès nor Apple and we have no chance to know about their existence.

I have to admit I never heard of any bands in Ébène besides the deployment buckle, and that's the moment we rely on feedback from the users. Thanks!

Thanks to @francoc02o for the photo/video.

all SBSS come with the noir faces. The SSS models do not come with the noir faces. As long as you purchase the SBSS you receive the noir faces. The SBSS Hermès Series 6 comes in an orange box with the Noir band with black logs and the black Hermes sport band. The inner soft felt pouch that the noir band comes in is black, but the box itself is orange. My Series 6 SBSS boxes were orange with the only item being black was the inner felt pouch for the noir band.

if the SBSS series 6 comes with anything other than what I stated above then those items have been switched.
I have both a SBSS and SLSS Hermes S6. I have the Noir faces in my watch app and have it on my SB but when I switch to the SL, interestingly, Noir faces are gone and I can't add them to the SL.

That’s true. I took that video on the Hermès store a couple of weeks ago when I went there to buy my Étoupe single tour band. They have more styles that Apple webpage, and even more that are only exclusive for their customer at certain stores, such as those orange attelage bands and some double tour bands for 44mm.

Here is another pic I took of it in the Hermès store.

Could you transfer the deployment buckle to another Hermes band?

Like let's say in 5 year your current leather band is really beat up. Could you transfer it to a new band without having to remove stitching?

When I bough my Étoupe band at the Hermès store a couple of weeks ago I. Asked if it was posible to replace the normal buckle it comes with for a deployment buckle. And they told me that they don’t do that . I even call customer service to see if it was posible to order a replacement of that deployment buckle, which they told me not.
I would still like to get a deployment buckle for my band but don’t know how.
Has anyone done that?

Must be a per-Store thing, I know the one I go to in Vegas will do it.

do they sell the replacement or should I just take another hand with that deployment buckle and they would just switch it ?
I was thinking on buying a second handing old deployment buckle band just to get the buckle of I find it in a very good price if that was the case.

I think the 40mm is underrepresented on all these threads, I myself don’t have a silver SS 40mm, but here it is on my 44. Please squint to avoid the horror of the size mismatch! When I actually clicked it into the middle it kinda just looks like some sort of take on the new skinny attelage?

thank you for sharing that pic! it's very clear there what the attelage hardware looks like, on the orange. it looks much more different there than in other pics.

do we think the actual leather part is the same? in other words, the circumference around the wrist is longer by the extension of the metal bits?

i tried th the attelage double tour in 44mm it’s actually shorter than the normal double tour. It feels very delicate . You can see comparisons in YouTube too.

My Deployment buckle band arrived, it’s exactly what I expected amazing craftsmanship and leather is top notch. I don’t see me ever using the Nior band, lol.

Nice! I think this was discussed on this forum before but I don't remember...has anyone seen the black single tour deployment at an Hermes store with black hardware or is it avail only in the silver?
