My first Apple Watch (am very much a mechanical watch guy) and obviously my first Hermes! (got the black noir strap). So far super happy with it! Just arrived today.

With all the talk about whether or not there will be an official Apple leather case for the iPhone, it got me thinking that a Hermes leather iPhone case would be awesome. I'm surprised Apple and Hermes haven't collaborated more.

I'd buy the hell out of that!

For all you band collectors I just want to give a plug for the Apple braided solo loop (especially in the green). It felt great in the store and looked really nice with the SS Hermes watch. The lugs are pretty well hidden by the braided band as well. I have one on backorder in my size but just wanted to mention to that to anyone who has been thinking about getting one I would highly recommend.

These are the old s0-s3 shape and obviously not the exact lug bar curve but the quality is excellent.

thanks! i actually don't remember, it was years ago. but if you search "apple watch band case" a lot of very similar products come up.

i actually just moved them into some more traditional trays because i ran out of space with the various non-hermes ones included.

currently wearing the charcoal braided loop, which is one of the few relatively great fits with the black stainless!

No I would be too terrified. Generally the lug screws come out easy but technically they aren’t meant to be screwed in a second time and the glue inside (per Apple spec) can lead to stripping on top of the screw.

But I’ve undone modern buckle lugs with mostly no problems. The Etsy lugs do come with a bunch of extra screws fwiw.

cameras are my other obsession, but that's just an iphone shot. someday i'll take a few watch pics with my z7 and macro lenses

i would love black lugs on the noir/bricque/etain band. maybe i'll take a little closer look at how it's put together. is it jarring to have the stainless buckle but black lugs?

i do have an S4 in stainless. skipped S5, have a stainless S1, a nike aluminum S2, and a grey ceramic S3. the s6 in noir was a tough choice, but i've never had black before, and am enjoying it so far!

I think I'm the only person who notices the lugs on my watch. It bothers me if they don't match but that's it. I doubt anyone else has ever noticed.

Def not the only one. I can’t even use sport bands that don’t have matching pins. Sold all my black pin bands after selling my space black watch lol
