I received my Hermès watch on Friday and love it. The leather is so supple, and the Hermès watch faces really transforms the watch. Now I want the deployment buckle so my leather band doesn’t crease, lol.

I’m pretty sure they’re the same length, but since deployment buckle is thicker than simple buckle it makes your wrist slightly bigger. It fits differently, but it shouldn’t cause you to go up a hole.
for what it's worth, im very happy I have the deployment clasp.
The more I look at the deployment buckle the more I want one. I can order the single tour and get pretty quickly but can't order the deployment version online. Perhaps order single tour and get the deployment too? Oh noo....

I have both the Noir and Ebene deployment clasps and they fit the same as if I ordered any other Hermès band to fit 44mm. There is no difference in the size. I wear my single tour bands with the pin for the clasp in the same place as it would be on my bands with the deployment clasp. The deployment clasps are only made for the 44mm watches.

Does anyone know if Hermès Etain is similar in color to Hermès Etoupe?
Trying to decide if I want to purchase the etoupe band but I am not sure if it is the same color as the Etain? I have the Etain band that came out last year but I have always been partial to etoupe.

Hermès black Sport Band is a match to the 1st gen black Apple Sport Band. The current 2nd gen is more very dark charcoal grey black than black black.
From a very well know Ebay seller - I purchased the 1st Gen black for a spare as I didn’t want to wear original Hermès Noir sport band.

I wanted the experience of both types of buckles and got a band with the regular buckle afterwards.
I pulled out the 3 straps for comparison. I’ll wear 2nd gen around (currently in production) since I can beat it up and not worry about it. If you want a spare and an exact color match, you’ll want to locate a 1st gen Sport Band.

There is definitely less wear and tear on the deployment clasp bands. you don’t have to constantly pull the pin in and out to put the band on. You set the pin once and just put the band on and click the clasp into place. I absolutely prefer the deployment clasp 100% over the regular Hermès bands.
I agree, and safer when putting AW on as it’s much more difficult to drop. But you might find regular buckle more comfortable because the buckle is not as thick. Where the regular buckle or deployment buckle sits on wrist could affect your comfort too. If your wrist in the middle range of the strap, there shouldn’t be much of a difference in comfort.
