Not the most illustrative pic (I don’t have this sbss anymore) but you can‘t go wrong with Hermes orange on any watch. It‘s a ‘universal donor.’ Just a perfect band. And even if you have the black Hermes, apple support will send you the orange for 49 plus shipping. The pin pictured below is black, a funky custom piece from China, not Apple direct.

Who’s getting the S7 when it comes out in a few weeks?
Pretty sure the Hermès collab will continue (considering they had the AirTag Hermès and the latest jumping tours).
I still want a special patterned leather band (like the Eperon d’Or). Not sure if I like the rumoured boxy design though….

I’m kind of on the fence with it now. With the rumored new size I’m not sure any of my old bands will work now. I’ve got a pretty robust collection of bands (both Hermès and otherwise) that I don’t really feel like getting rid of just for the latest and greatest.

Nice! I feel torn if I do end up getting the 7 (assuming the Hermes version is still around) I think I would love the black and orange combo however the silver stainless steel feels a better overall choice.

I think it depends on what the noir Jumping band looks like in a few weeks.

I hope they have the standard leather single tours rather than just the jumping tours. Otherwise I might give this series a miss.

Leather is what Hermès is famous for. As long as there is an Apple Watch Hermès, there will 100% be Hermès leather straps available for it.

No new leather single tours in 2021 spring/summer refresh though.

The “novelty” focus all during s6 whether they had new colors or not was Attelage or Deployant or 44 double tour. I wonder what the next one is? Is there anywhere to go with the cuffs or anything similar?

And while I’m also leaning towards not a lot of single tour leather color for fall21, they did release a lot of colors in fall20.

Yeah, if you‘re only after „regular“ Single Tour straps, the pickings might be slim, although I think (from memory) that really new colours are mostly released together with the new Watches in the fall. Fingers crossed we‘ll get something as unique as last year‘s Bambou. 🤞

I LOVE my Bambou from last year and if I get the S7, I will need to sell the S6 to fund it but I don't want to part with this special band...

I just sell the watch and keep the leather band. It cuts 200-300 USD off but you can still get a fair amount for just the box, watch, and sport band.

I do the same. I sell the watch and the boxes and keep the bands. I charge $500 for it. I put a feeler in the Marketplace forum yesterday for my Hermes Series 6.

One thing that I just noticed: Noir is no longer available as a color choice on my silver Hermes watch in watchOS 8. It’s missing from both the regular Hermes face and the Circulaire face. Not sure if this is just a bug in the current beta or if Hermes has made the deliberate decision to restrict both the Noir face and the Noir color to the black watches going forward.

Will have to keep an eye on it through the rest of the beta process.

Very true. This is especially true when you're a Cleveland Browns fan and their orange almost matches the Hermes orange perfectly!!

I'm hoping to pick up a deployment series 7, but I'm really curious to see how the squared off watch will look with the Hermes leather.
