I mostly wear the sport, but if I start cooking I will swap out one of my leather bands for the sport to keep from water staining.
 
I put the H sport band on my gold series 2 last night, never though orange and gold would look good together but I really like it.

I like that orange sport band. I get on a kick now and then and wear mine for days.

Yeah. I've already marked up the leather band.
 
I bought the Fauve Barenia single tour and i have to say i am having trouble differentiating it from my wife's regular apple leather classic band. It's a little lighter in color - but i'm sure that will change as it patinas - and has the contrast stitching. But from overall feel of the leather, flexibility, and the sides I am really struggling to tell the difference between the two bands and besides a brand, what justifies the premium. It looks like just another mass manufactured leather band.

What am i missing?

Well there's the Hermes watch faces and the orange Hermes sport band as well.

Otherwise if you can't appreciate/notice the differences then maybe you can still return it. Apple has a pretty good return policy. If you bought directly from Hermes then you're out of luck as their return policy is bad.

Maybe he purchased the band separately? If yes then I could see his point

So yesterday I learnt to not wear the leather strap whilst doing a work out....I now have to big stains on the strap....should I try and clean it or is it best to just leave it?

Sweat stains? Not much you can do really, but over time the whole band will darken in colour when it has a patina, so will hopefully even out...

Yeah.....I'll just leave it and like you say as it darkens they should even out.
 
I'm a guy and really like the double tour. Are there many guys who wear the double tour or does it lean more towards women? All the reviews have women wearing them.

More towards women, probably because it's for a 38mm AW. It looks cool in pics, but seeing it in person it would be uncomfortable to wear IMO. I also think it only looks good on someone with small wrists.
