I'm a guy and really like the double tour. Are there many guys who wear the double tour or does it lean more towards women? All the reviews have women wearing them.

Thanks.
As Luba said, its a cool but unique band. I'd highly recommend trying it on in the store first.

You can also purchase it and you have 14 days to return it if bought through Apple assuming you don't damage the watch.

I would not recommend buying from Hermes directly as they pretty much don't have a return policy.

More towards women, probably because it's for a 38mm AW. It looks cool in pics, but seeing it in person it would be uncomfortable to wear IMO. I also think it only looks good on someone with small wrists.

I tried one on in a store, and it was super comfortable. I was quite surprised, because like you, I thought it would be uncomfortable, but it really was very comfortable, felt very good on my wrist. However, I agree with you it probably wouldn't look good on larger wrists.

QQ: Are any of you thinking of selling your Series 2 Hermes to fund a Series 3 AW of some sort? I really like the Hermes, but realized that I tend not to use the most useful faces on the AW because having the Hermes means I feel more like I should use the Hermes faces. What I really like about the Hermes are the bands, and I can buy those separately to wear with a regular SS AW. I was checking eBay for pricing last night and I cannot get a hold on what these might be going for used. I'd like to sell mine for enough to subsidize at least a new SS 42MM AW if the Series 3 turns out to be what I want. If it's a minimal change, I will probably just keep the Hermes. Thoughts?

Nope, going to keep my Series 2 for a while as I have 3 years AppleCare+ on it and took me ages to get the one I wanted in the first place. They also don't sell my band separately, so can't get the normal SS.

I've been considering the same issue-not sure what I'm going to do yet. I mostly use the faces as well and get what you're saying about being more inclined to use only them...that's EXACTLY how I feel. As far as the actual Watch goes, I feel like I won't get another Hermes Watch. The bands are the best part, and like you said I can just get those separately. I've seen some on eBay go for 800 + but it helps if you add extras in with it and start the auction really low.

I do have both my bands, the original box, the charger has never even been removed from it, so that part looks like new. I could toss in another band or two because I have a ton of AW bands and really don't wear some of them at all. Hmm... good idea. I also have AC+ on my watch, so that's another plus. I guess I'll wait and see what happens with AW3.

Do you have the Deployment? See, mine is just the Fauve and they sell it separately now. I got this Hermes so easily, I pretty much just looked on the Hermes site and it was there, so I bought it. I like it well enough that if the AW3 doesn't have some great, new features, I'll probably keep it, but I'm a little indifferent now that I've had it a while.

Yeah I have the deployment buckle.

It's sold out online now. I'm guessing Apple will release an update for this watch, next week.

This should likely serve as good indicator that Apple is releasing a series 3 next week, witch will include a Hermes edition.

I hope this partnership continues. I plan on keeping my Hermes Series 2 for another 2 years so I hope this partnership is still around at that time.

Think I'll possibly get rid of mine. Not that it'll be worth much

I bought AppleCare for mine, which is 3 years of coverage. I'm going to stick it out. Another 2 years to go.

Plus these things have poor resale value. Got $175 for my series 0 Stainless Steel. Heck of a price cut for what I paid originally.

I'm guessing I'd be lucky to get £450 ($585.00) for mine....I've still got my Series 0 stainless steel with link here...just wasn't worth getting rid of it.

If I can get enough out of my Hermes to get myself a basic SS Series 3, I'll do it. Might as well. I'm in it for the tech, anyway. Owning the Hermes was fun, but I really don't care about Hermes vs. a regular SS. I can always buy an Hermes band if I really want the watchband.

I'm not upgrading, took me ages to get my deployment buckle and it's getting a rather nice patina. I'm not interested in LTE anyway, as I always have my phone with me

I wonder how well the Hermes sells vs the bands. There is a $200 premium over buying the SS plus the Hermes bands. That's a lot for a watch face and extra year of warranty. Maybe the differential goes away this year.

Agreed, LTE is the rumored big feature and I don't need it. I'm sure there will be other smaller upgrades as well but I'm good for now.

I’d rather the extra battery life a non-LTE one would have to be honest

Plus I don't want to pay extra each month for a Watch data package...

I'm really not excited about this. Adding yet one more device that will need a monthly payment will be a big barrier for most i would think. I'd much rather bigger battery improvements than LTE....like an always on display
