Do we actually get the red hands with the OS 4 or is that only the cellular version?

I'm on the Beta... need to update. No red hands on this one. I'll check the final version.

The second screenshot looks like the clipper font we already have. I'm not sure there is anything new with it. Are you sure you uploaded the correct screenshot.

The first screenshot is great! I like it. It will certainly get a lot of use.

Hmmm. You’re right. I did that on the fly. Looks like only one is new. This is the Beta, though. Let me DL the regular version.

I would love to get the Hermes AW, but they insist on only making 195mm straps...

I'm really debating the Hermes with dark deployment clasp. I like dressy watches for work and I've been kicking myself for not using one during series 0 and series 2. That's quite a premium though. Has anyone gone from a regular SS or a sport to a Hermes? What's your experience been?

I'm thinking this one might be worth it because other than faster processor, I'm not sure what else Apple can do other than changing the form factor and I really have grown fond of the form of the watch, and I can see keeping this one through it's warranty period of 2 years or more.

I went from a regular SS with the Series 0 to a Hermes Series 2 and I'm probably going to sell it this year and get something different. I get bored that way.

I like the Hermes leather bands and the faces are nice, but since they're not always on, you do not get the same feel you'd get with an analog Hermes fashion watch. The bands can be purchased separately, so I may well just buy a band of some sort later, once I figure out which watch I'm going for this year, if any.

It's fun... nice packaging, the leather feels great on the bands themselves. I cannot do the deployment ones because they are for larger wrists and I'm a woman with average woman-sized wrists, but the design of those is great.

Went from regular Series 0 SS to Hermès Series 2 because I didn’t like any of the Watch faces but I fell in love with the Hermès ones.

I got AppleCare for my Hermès Series 2 so I still plan on keeping it for another 2 years and maybe just buy another Hermès band or two along the way.

I went from SS Series 2 to Series 2 Hermes deployment buckle and love it for work etc. I won't be upgrading this year as have AppleCare+ that's good for another 2 years.

I have a SS Series 0 and planning to upgrade to the Series 3 tonight and go Hermes. Looking forward to the upgrade in speed and water resistance. Really wasn't even considering the Hermes (was planning on edition) but the new Eperon d'Or band really got my attention. The Hermes watch also feels a little more special than the edition (IMO).

It definitely does. You'll enjoy the experience factor... since both are the same amount of money, might as well get the Hermes package fun and extra sport band out of the deal. :)

Upgrading from a S2 Nike+ and soooo want a Hermes S3...

So what I can gather is the Hermes is different from the regular stainless steel becuase:
- Hermes packaging (orange box)
- Hermes watch faces
- Hermes leather bands

Any other advantages over the regular SS?

Check the very first posts of this thread and you'll see my series 2 unboxing, which shows the orange band.

Thanks! They're beautiful!

Shame the orange band only comes in M/L for the 42mm watch case. I have very small wrists and use the S/M sport band usually. I won't be able to use the M/L :(

Does pre-order for the Hermes start at the same time as the normal ones? Or was it the Nike+ S3 that gets delayed in pre-order?

Apple’s website appears to show USA orders for Hermès starting at 12 AM PDT 9/15.

Thanks mate - You're a legend!

Are you getting the S3 Hermes?
No, wOS 4 GM has brought a fair amount of speed improvements to my series 2. I bought AppleCare+ on launch day so I'm going to try and take advantage of all 3 years of coverage (2 more years to go). Apple Watch sadly has poor resale value on eBay.

If you end up buying the series 3 Hermes, please take pictures of the unboxing experience and share them with us.

(Other side note: Apple I believe still has a no questions asked 2 week return policy. AKA use the watch for two weeks and return it if you don't like it. Buying directly from Hermes though is tough because once you open the box, they don't accept returns.)

Yes, re: Hermes. I bought from them and it was like a leap off a cliff once that box was open. :D

Last I checked the M/L covered the entire range of the band that accompanies the watch.

Are you sure you shouldn't consider the 38mm instead? The Hermes watch bands have much smaller ranges than the Apple ones.

So do the Hermes S/M & M/L bands cover different ranges compared to normal sports and nylon bands?

I usually use the third or fourth hole in the normal S/M bands for the 42mm watch case.

I have a small wrist but prefer the 42mm watch case.
