So do the Hermes S/M & M/L bands cover different ranges compared to normal sports and nylon bands?

I usually use the third or fourth hole in the normal S/M bands for the 42mm watch case.

I have a small wrist but prefer the 42mm watch case.

they nylon band covers the entire range of a s/m & m/l sport band, in one band. the nylon bands don't have sizes.

this is a bit old and doesnt have all the band types (i cant find a newer one) but it should illustrate the point better:

I have to wear the sport band on the 2nd hole with the Hermes. I usually use the 4th hole on S/M bands for the 42MM. I have to wear the single tour bands on the very last hole for the Hermes.

Hope that helps.

Thanks mate very useful.

To clarify:
So for normal sports bands you use the S/M band, 4th hole.
For the orange band that came with the 42mm Hermes (M/L band), you use the 2nd hole.
For the leather band with the 42mm Hermes, you use the first hole.

Seems like I can preorder the 42mm S3 Hermes :D

Exactly. I was really worried that the Hermes leather band would stretch over time and become too loose for me to wear on the very last hole, but it really never did. That was a relief. Go forth. Spend money.

:D

I love the Hermès models this year, great designs. Last year I went from a series 0 to a Hermes S2, I was debating selling it before Series 3 came out but I'm glad I didn't. I have a feeling it's going to last a long time for me, it's a beast. Its just too much to spend on a watch again when mine is working fine. On the other hand, I was happy selling my gold sport and upgrading to another aluminum model. And I may grab a that Bordeaux red single tour

Question for the Hermès owners, did they make a Hermès Edition series 1, or was it just the series 2 and now the series 3? Thanks in advance!

There was a Series 0, then the Series 2, now the Series 3. The Series 1 was introduced same time as the Series 2 AW models and was a stripped down version of the Series 2, so there was no Hermes that was Series 1.

Thank you, a friend wants to sell me his Hermès Series 1, as he calls it, to buy a new Apple watch. I just wasn't sure if they made a Series 1. He's adamant it's not a Series 2 and I'm still at work now haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

Sounds like it's Series 0 then. I'd caution you about series 0. They're very slow. I'd rather have a non-Hermes Series 2 (much faster) than a Series 0 Hermes (so slow and laggy that you grow bored waiting on it to always catch up).

PSA: starting with watchOS 4, you can now use the Hermès orange in every watch face. Additionally, there is a new watch face that looks really beautiful.

Ordered 42mm Hermes Indigo Swift Leather single tour. Just wonder if the double tour band works with the 42mm watch?

Hermés edition owners: has your purchase been worth it? I am an Hermés fan and currently own the SBSS series 0 Apple Watch and am going to upgrade this time around. I am contemplating the 38mm SBSS with sport band or the Hermés Single Tour Eperon d'Or 38mm.

The Hermés edition is twice the price with taxes. Is it worth it?
I do wear my Apple Watch everyday, but I worry with the leather I will have to be more cautious when washing my hands or doing dishes. I don't want the leather to get stained by water or daily use. I have always worn my sport band as the other Apple bands give me a rash. Hermés palladium does not, so it is an option for me. Lastly, how is your Hermés band holding up?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You just have to be careful not to get the bands too wet. My deployment buckle got rather more noticeable patina on the edges due to sweat soaking in and this left curved halo marks darker than the rest. To even things up I got some baby wipes and went over the whole band and it darkened nicely. I wear mine daily and the leather is perfect to be honest.

No contest, it is so worth it. I love the Hermès brand and the leather bands are beautiful, especially combined with the amazing faces you get with the Watch. There's much more versatility although I've heard people say it's not worth the money just for the faces(although the edition is around that price range and has 0 special faces). In my opinion you're getting a lot more then just that. I think it's really the whole package you get with something this special; almost every Apple Watch face has its own orange version and you get the orange sport band. The Hermès warrantee lets you take your leather band, which is handmade, in to any store and they will work their magic for you when you feel it's time for a cleanup.

How many complications can you use with the Hermès watchface?
