Would you happen to know if Apple still does this if you purchased your Watch directly from Hermes? ?

I’ve only done it through Apple. All you need is a serial, doesn’t matter where the watch came from. Does Hermes support even deal with Apple Watches beyond returns/exchanges?

I recall it helps to supply them with the specific part name, which I can’t find in a forum search but is something like:

Hermes Sport Band, Black, 4_mm

Thank you!

I’m not exactly sure to be honest. I know DLC is incredibly strong but yet I’m afraid to ruin it before I’ve had the Watch a month. Would the coating still prevent damage if it encounters a very hard hit?

So far I absolutely love the Hermes noir face! I’m not sure I could go back to “regular” stainless steel
I think the case looks nice. It has a jewel type effect going on.

In my experience Hermes distribution doesn’t do much on weekends, and depending on how late you ordered Thursday, it should be shipping by now. I’ve never had a problem calling in (I don’t much tbf) and usually get a nice live person with French accent).

Also I haven’t checked lately but their distribution center does close occasionally as of late, and so they’ll say on the website any orders for x period won’t ship until after y.
I sent them a message on Monday asking and they replied it is scheduled to be sent Tuesday. It is now Wednesday and still hasn't shipped. I must say I am very disappointed in Hermes. In the USA they might be good but here in Australia they seem slack :(

Yeah the faces are what get you locked in!

The black finish is not 100% impervious to damage (nothing is). But it’s about as close as you can get. A hard hit from something like a wood or metal object won’t leave a mark of any kind. The diamond like carbon coating is harder than almost anything you will run into out in the day to day world. Same with the screen. Honestly, the biggest threat to scratch the coating or screen is the space black or graphite Milanese loops. Both are also DLC coated so they can scratch since they are the same hardness as the DLC of the watch.

Hi

I have had three SBSS Hermes models and have never had an issue with a scratch or ding on them at all. I find the finish to be extremely strong and not prone to scratches at all like the SS model is.

Congrats on the new watch!! I love mine!!

I actually got mine for free. I told them I already had the band and that the pin connector had broken. They sent me a replacement and didn’t want the original back and didn’t charge me anything for the replacement. This was for my series 6 because my buyer wanted the orange sports band and mine was already worn. I had no issue getting apple to replace the one I had.

My first post here (after lurking for the past 2 weeks) with my first Hermes Watch :)

Where did you get that case? I really like it!!! Of course, it might be because it’s on that watch. Still, I would love to know where you got it.

It’s a Goton bumper case I found on Amazon. The screen isn’t covered or anything so it’s still very responsive

Well I received a call from Hermes, they can't supply the band online. She said to call the Sydney store to arrange for them to send one to me. Wish they could have told me this a week ago! Organised through the Sydney store so hopefully will receive in the next day or 2.
