On top I have Apple Care with 3 years of Accidental Coverage.
So there is no need to put cheap bumpers and cases.

I think you can’t appreciate it fully until you wear it the way it’s meant to be.The case is temporary until the “newness factor” has worn off

Not sure if someone has already pointed this out but the Noir color option is again available on my silver S6 on the Circulaire face only. Not sure when this happened but I am guessing it was with watchOS 8.1 (the color was definitely not there in 8.0). Still no sign of Noir on the OG Hermes face. But the fact that it has returned to Circulaire and is also an option on Circuit H gives me some hope it might come back in a future update.
It will be fine. I try my best not to knock my watch on anything but it does happen and I have never ever had an issue with the finish scratching.
No need for a case on the SS models. Silver can be easily polished, SBSS is nigh-indestructible. Sapphire screens too.
They require a serial number for a Silver SS Hermes watch in order to sell the replacement orange band. They flat refused to do it for me with my SBSS watch - said they would only replace the band that came with the actual watch. (obviously the reverse would be true if you're trying to get the black Hermes SB). That was just this week...I think they are tightening up on this policy.
It's not sold as a retail item, only as a repair/replacement part. Note also that they will also ask for photos of the "damaged" band you're replacing or for you to drop it off in a store. I had to lie and say I'd already thrown it away.

don't listen to them. It did look nice. The watch by itself looks nice too, but they clearly like imagination and are just Hermes watch purest.
I think this this dependent on the rep you get. All I had to do was provide my serial number. Had no issue getting another band without having to send it back or return it to a store. I did this on October 11th.
does anyone know if Hermes ever makes brightly colored bands with the sbss hardware? Sometimes I get sick of nothing but dark colored bands.

I managed to get the Gourmette Double Tour in fauve Barenia and it arrived today. I like the idea of the patina it will get being unique to me but I’m not sure it will work with the SB. Lugs being SS isn’t too horrible (I think?)
Brien is right, the face is called Noir Hermès. There are 3 different options for the gradient effect as well

I’m the type to put a case on something new to protect it and keep it there. I’ve never had my phone or past watches out of a case like the Hermès currently is. Is yours in a case? Which model do you have?

If at all possible, can you please post some pictures of you wearing this combination? It would seem that the Gourmette DT isn’t the most popular option for most but it’s ‘pretzels’ have been growing on me given that I cannot find an original Fauve DT.
Original date Nov 16-23…Apple says Nov 9 & Fedex says today, but my package was last scanned in Memphis last night & I’m in DC. We’ll see what happens. If I don’t get it today I’ll have to wait until Tuesday since I’ll be back home in Cali for the weekend
I was looking for the Fauve Attelage but couldn’t get it through Apple or Hermès. The Gourmette was on Apple Monday night so I went for it. The “pretzels” are interesting. I’m attempting to train my eyes to see chains instead lol
I took some pictures for you. They’re not the best as I haven’t actually used the band yet and it still has the plastic coverings. I’m still not sure if the band works with the Space Black and if not, will return it to Apple.
