The Jumping bands are incredibly versatile as they are resilient enough for just about anything. While I don’t wear mine during workouts (I prefer a sport band), you certainly could. I also wouldn’t wear my Jumping while working on my car or some other intricate laborious task like that. As for cleaning it, every once in a while I’ll just scrub it lightly with my fingers and a drop of clear dish soap. I also have a gentle small brush if I really want to deep clean it, then let it air dry and it’s good to go.

Bottom line, I’ve worn my Jumping for work and play. They’re incredibly lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for the summer, in my opinion. I can wear a genuine Hermès band and not have to worry about it like my leather bands. It‘s a true all-day, all-season band.
@justiny Thanks

Anybody else finding the Hermes online store (not Apple) to be inoperable? Site works, but nothing can be added to one’s cart.

I ordered earlier in the week. Had no problem ordering a Jump Band from Hermes.

I like to say they’re very keen on their nineteenth century tradition, down to the web presence ?. It’s always a little funky. They had a weird listing for a watch with no band in September. I mean even Apple took a second to catch up to the new era.

Yeah, trying to do the same thing now. Yesterday and this morning. Can’t add anything to a cart or use the direct ApplePay button. iPad and same on my Mac. Even adding something random from their site like a tie and I get the same result.

I’ll try Firefox later.

The Apple pay button never worked for me. I wonder if you need to be in the store for Apple Pay.

Worked when I bought my watch off the Hermes online store...

Anyway, it's being weird. Store isn't working on Firefox, either.

Edit: Working with Chrome. Seems to be an issue with the ad blockers on Safari and Firefox. Strange, since it was working a few months ago and I didn't change any settings. The ad blockers must have updated in the background and broken something. Site reported to the ad blocker folks (1Blocker on Safari, uBlock Origin on Firefox).

Calling them on the phone is also something else. While you wait you‘re listening to some very weird „music“, spiked with horse sounds (!) and a very robotic (but clearly human) female voice, all in the worst possible sound quality.

They also didn’t seem to be able to process a FedEx misdelivery/theft for someone on here. Luckily I won’t be purchasing from their site until they run their first sale. And luckily I have the Apple shopping bag and a good bit of Bolduc ribbon.

Don‘t forget their basically non-existing returns policy. ? But they‘re #1 (in leather goods), so why try harder, right? I would also never buy from their site (again) except for bands that are sold out elsewhere.

@athousandbands and @the future ?
never had problems with the Hermès.it / fr / de site, never had shipping problems before with FedEx and now with UPS, the last time they even called me on the phone once I placed the order. Good assistance but that can be improved and then there is the shop which is basically special.

I was also gonna say maybe their American outpost loses something in distance. Which is totally fair turnabout for us Apple home country yanks. I will say the customer service on a human level does seem to be great as I did once message them about the Jumping being vegan and they were very thorough and helpful.

Good for you, but listening to that bizarre audio spectacle on the phone for 20 minutes only to have the guy tell me they won‘t put extra holes in their leather bands anymore left a bitter taste of snobbish negligence.

Anybody know if you can move the deployant clasp to a 41mm band? Would it fit?

I think it would be too wide and the metal bar that attaches it would stick out on either side. Might also be too large to get the bar through the band. I don’t have a 41mm band to look at. But I wouldn’t recommend it.

Is it possible to transform a 45mm single tour leather band into a deployment band?
Yes, I did that with a Navy single tour not long ago.

How did you do the transformation? I doubt if Hermes would do it as and I have eye- hand coordination issues. But I am curious.

I’ve been wearing my Fauve Barenia Double Tour Gourmette almost every single day since getting it in January. I simply adore it! Doesn’t smell as good as when I first got it but there is still a pretty leather scent :)

I decided to poke around on the Hermès website and see this band is back… I’m EXTREMELY tempted to buy a duplicate. I’d also order the Glenan Double Tour bracelet in orange to complement the Fauve Barenia band.

I have 3 other Hermès leather bands but don’t wear them. 1 of the others is a Fauve Barenia DT but it’s not as nice as the Gourmette. Do I order the duplicate and the orange bracelet??

I’m guessing you’re not interested in silver stainless but I feel like that’s what I would want for around the same price as the gourmette lol. At the same time once the gourmette is gone it’s gone, so I also support getting a second. Maybe even a third just to resell in a year.

Wow. I cannot answer your question, but I'm just here admiring your Gourmette Double Tour band. It's SO pretty. It's a piece of art!

Do you own the Attelage DT in red or white? I think about them all the time.

I’m not sure how I would feel seeing a silver watch on my wrist. I know there are people that love it but I feel like black is more me :)

I think the silver hardware on the band is as close to a silver watch as I’ll be getting lol
