Attelage double tour GOLD.

Looks very real. I don't think fakes can master this degree of patina'd Fauve, or the fine engraving on the sport band/ watch. Are you getting it at a good price?
Yeah, I got a very good deal on it which is why I wanted to make sure it was legit. I picked it up yesterday and it's identical to the one i got directly from Apple.

Jumping Band Question.

How often to wipe it down (clean it) if I wear it daily?

Is there a new watch face for Hermes? Saw a few post that some of you have with the new the Noir Gris jumping tour

If you have both the Jumping and leather bands, which of the two are you more likely to wear as an everyday band? Curious to hear.

For the last half year, the jumping band has mainly been my daily driver as it can be worn in any situation: have been working out with it, swimming, snowboarding, sailing… and it still looks like brand new.

The leather in contrast needs to be babysitted while wearing. You need to worry about sweat, rain and dirt quite a bit. I really enjoy wearing it. On days where I know that i won‘t get my hands dirty i happily choose the leather

@Purga. Thanks. How often do I need to clean the Jumping band? How to clean it? Does the Jumping band loosen over time? I have two that are only a week old and they are very stiff.

i sometimes take a shower with it which always was enough to keep it clean.
The last two weeks I pushed it heavily with wearing it non stop during sailing across the mediterranian sea with lots of sweat, rain and salt water. At the end i thought i had some unrecoverable stains on it. However, after washing it with soap it looked like brand new again

It loosens a tiny bit, but i would still call it quite stiff. It will adjust a bit to your wrist form (by getting some curvature), but remain stiff, which to be honest i really appreciate by now as it really adds to feeling durable

@Purga thanks so much.

I also have been wearing the Jumping as a daily driver and selectively using the leather when I feel confident that my schedule and environment allow me to look out for it. I'm actually quite impressed at how durable and resilient the Jumping Bands are, as I can hardly tell the impact of regular usage. If it had been Hermes leather, a very different story.

BTW That stiffness seems to be built into the design. Hard to close, yes, but also a very comfortable fit.

I do.

Fauve left, Gold right. If you zoom to the original size (provided MR upload doesn't compress it much) you'll see the difference in the leather grain. Besides, Fauve has more color nuances whereas Gold is much more uniform.

Thank you very much. This is exactly what I was looking for. I currently have the Fauve Barénia deployment buckle. I haven’t used it to much since 2018 that I bought it, but just by getting old and the oxidation process it got darker, so I was wondering if I should get the swift gold. I personally like more the swift leather, more color consisten , less patina, and softer. But in this pic they look so similar that I wouldn’t feel like using a different watch I think.

First time poster!

Getting ready to join the Hermès family. I’m interested in starting with a Fauve Barénia band for occasional casual and business attire. I live in Texas, so there will be heat in the summer. I’m not expecting this band to be a daily driver during any season, but for when it is hot: is there a difference in breathability between the regular single tour and the deployment? Does the deployment clasp lifting the leather off the skin on one side also improve ventilation?

I appreciate the thoughts of those that have worn both band types!

Hi folks, has anyone recently had extra holes punched in your Hermès leather bands in an Hermès store/boutique? If so, where was it?

I called the store nearest to me yesterday (Cologne, Germany) and they claimed that Hermès doesn‘t offer this service anymore because of „concerns for the longevity of the bands“!?
