Wow I couldn’t believe it when my Hermes AW arrived today.
From Apple I would have had to wait close towards the end of October whilst the AU Hermes store sent it out on release day Friday.

So glad I went with the Space Black I absolutely love it! 😍

Welcome to the Hermès family! The Noir looks great on you!

I wish my wrist was bigger so I can wear one of the jumping bands :/

I am considering the 45mm, but wondering how the smallest hole size on the Hermes bands compares to the holes on the M/L sport band. I ask because the smallest hole on the M/L sport band is about right for me, so was hoping the Hermes band holes would start at roughly the same place.

Not sure if this helps you to work it out but the Hermes Leather band on my wrist i have to use the second last hole but that i tried the included sports band im using the 3rd last hole.

Ohhh WOW that's fantastic news to hear yours shipped! Amazing!
Very happy for you

Correct yes a sport strap was included with mine and its the black one. I think the black one comes with the Space Black models and the Hermes orange comes with the Silver Stainless Steel models.

Yes the leather strap feels brilliant. Very comfy. For me at the moment its slightly tight but im sure its going to stretch a little over time being leather.

I really want to find that Hermes Woven textile tour band that is black/dark Green but sadly here in Australia no one has the 45 mm one in stock any longer 😞
Sounds great! DHL confirmed I'll be getting it tomorrow 🥹
Willing to try that comfy leather band. My model is 41, I just hope it has enough holes because my wrist is quite small (size 3-4 of the solo loop😅).

Oh I know which band you mean! The jumping single tour. I happened to find the black/light grey one in stock at apple web and bought it! It arrived last week. I haven't tried it yet, waiting for the watch to try it on.

Check Apple, put Jumping Single in the search engine. In my case it came up there, as it didn't appear in the band webpage!

Similar for me.

Jumping and leather bands second last and normal sport band 3rd in. However, the included Hermès orange sport I am on the second last.

I checked Hermes store online and they dont even list the green/black one anymore.
Apple store online does list the green/black but only in 41mm. When i try to select the 45mm its greyed out :(

Nice!
Great to hear they are good for daily use.

Wish i could purchase the Vert Veronese/Noir Jumping Single Tour band but cant find it in stock anymore.
keep checking the Hermes website. They tend to bring bands back now and again. Congrats on the SBSS. I had one SS Hermes (I think it was the Series 3) and have then bought SBSS on every model since. I got tired of the micro scratches on the SS. and I like the look of SBSS better. Enjoy!!!

I’ve been enjoying this monster for the last few days. As others have said, it’s a bit of an acquired taste, but when you’re outside and it catches the light, I think it looks awesome. A few drawbacks though:
  • Less comfortable than the normal double tours, the metal obviously has less ”give” than the normal leather, and as I like to wear my watch quite tightly, you do feel the effects if wearing for long periods of time
  • If you don’t position it quite right when putting it on, you can end up with the metal part of the strap getting underneath part of the watch itself, especially when walking. This actually lead to the heart rate sensor not able to pickup my pulse on a walking workout. I had to adjust the strap quite a few times yesterday when trying to get this to work, but hopefully I’ll figure out a way to make this more reliable with time
  • The metal of the strap being in contact with the watch means that notifications/taptics also vibrate the strap, meaning that Taptics feel more like they did on old (pre iphone 6S) iPhones, a kind of “buzzy“ noise
  • Yet to see any scuffs on the watch itself from contact with the metal, but I’ll keep an eye on it
  • The price is a bit crazy compared to the leather double tours, I’d say £600-£700 would be more reasonable, £850 is a bit hard to stomach!
If anyone has any questions wants more pics then lemme know :)

I think thats my best bet as to just keep checking from Hermes & Apple and hope one day it comes back in stock fingers crossed!

Congrats on the SBSS.
Thank you :)

I just wish the Space Black Hermes range had more bands that match the black. Seems more bands are made to match the silver Stainless Steel range.
Dont get me wrong i think the silver looks nice as well but im like you always worrying it will show micro scratches plus ive always felt darker watches suit me better.

Thanks. Looks like with my 160mm wrist, I will be better off with the 41mm.
No worries and sounds like 41mm might be the way to go for you then yeah.

I just measured with a ruler the Apple Watch print out strap which for me its number 11 and that works out to 195mm my wrist is.
As i mentioned in my previous post, feels comfortable 95% when using the 2nd last hole on the leather strap and 3rd last hole on the sports band.

Anyone have experience ordering from the Hermès website? They’re showing 2-7 business days for the Watch/band combo I purchased from Apple which is showing Oct 4-11 still. Wonder if I should order and possibly cancel the Apple order.

Ordered Friday, shipped today and expected tomorrow. I’m in Europe and they ship from France though. Seems they have a high allocation many people are not aware of.

I placed my order through Hermès on 11th September, they shipped my order on the 16th of September and i received it on the 19th of September.
Im in Australia and it shipped from Sydney NSW and when i placed my order there was no estimated time shown when id receive my watch only said 'ships after 16th September 2022'.

Is yours a 41mm or 45mm? I just bought the 41mm for my 45mm watch. It's super tight on my wrist using the very last hole. I didn't see 45mm available to purchase.

Hello,

I have a 41mm Series 6 Hermès Apple Watch with WatchOS 9 and I can't find this face :

Screenshot 2022-09-19 at 22.12.36.png

It was released with the Series 5 and I thought that we had access to all previous Hermès faces with the last WatchOS but this one I can't find :(
Am I the only one ?

Thanks!

Is your Hermes Space Black Stainless Steel?
Im not 100% sure but i believe the Noir Watch face (the one in your picture) is exclusive to the Space Black Models only.

Every year I see the Space Black and think how good it looks. But I have six Hermes bands with silver hardware and a stainless steel link bracelet and I think the mismatched hardware would drive me crazy. I’m in too far deep to switch to SB at this point.

Cuivre (“Coover”) and Bleu de France (“France Bloo”) are particularly devilish releases in this light lol

I know! Has me wanting to rebuild my collection all over again! Between the classic Noir band, the Cuivre and the Bleu de France, throw in a SS link bracelet and I’m good to go! Just need to win the lotto first.
