That and the real dark black is very prone to shine so it makes sense to not offer that as a band for everyday users. It will start to look back very soon if you wear it regularly.
The Sports band i was thinking when i saw it was from the S2 Watch i had bought so thats going to be around 2016 i think??? Thats why i was remembering it being darker like the Hermes one.
Yeah S2 era is G1 black for sure and much closer to the Hermes black.

All these SB watches I’m beginning to wonder if I should have got SB instead of SS!
My watch was supposed to arrive today but fedex did the usual fake excuse when they realised they would miss the target time for federal express. This time it was ‘incorrect address’. Of course the address is correct and it actually never went out for delivery!
Then they told me it’ll take 48 hours to deliver now because someone has to pick up some manual note they left from my call.
Huge escalation, and they promised it’ll be here before 12am tomorrow. Let’s see what happens.

That lucky horse race goes perfectly with the orange leather band!

Thanks for confirming it. Yeah i thought it was but just couldn't remember as its been so many years that ive taken out that sport band from my S2.

Its close but i agree it doesnt match.
Still looks very nice in my opinion.
Im not mad at the color situation, they made their little illustrations first and worried about our bands later. Bleu Lin is enough as far as that goes. Now the new Nike gradients on the other hand are a little out of control as far as band-matching is concerned. And my watch is 44mm and Capucine 38mm anyway.

Its probably the case like you say they did the illustrations first and then did the bands later.
As I pair every band I also wonder if they were going for the most “middle” colors. Bleu Hydra hits with the burples but itself isn’t super purple.
And Gris Pale is giving that neutral vibe like the classic Argent faces.
The question is is Lucky going to be frozen in ambre like Circuit and never get new colors? I think yes.

Theres no easy, quick way to remove the deployment mechanism onto other bands right? I only wear watches with deployments but the options are limited it appears for the Hermes bands.
You know it! Its beautiful and SOFT.
Side note: As my first Hermes edition, the faces are pretty dim - other than lucky horse. Kinda disappointing. Especially circulaire which is beautiful otherwise.
