A bit off topic Bona, but I really admire how you put your looks together. May I ask what brand that ombre braided belt is that you're wearing? It's amazing and super unique!

Thank you! It is Paul Smith.A bit off topic Bona, but I really admire how you put your looks together. May I ask what brand that ombre braided belt is that you're wearing? It's amazing and super unique!
I've swam with mine, it was very comfortable and dried out quickly. For running though I will stick to my trusty Pride sport loops, as I like to be able to adjust them to the exact tightness I want.Has anyone on here who has one done any workouts with them?
Saw this Bleu de France H diagonal on an auction site. What would cause that colour on the back of the band? It’s even across the full band so it can’t be sweat or from usage?
Hate is a pretty strong word after all it’s just a deployment band….I hate the comfort of deployment buckle, but I get how it’s slightly nicer and more fancy. On a rubber band I want nothing to do with it though. I agree about the design and flexibility!!
That’s weird. I have that band and mine is definitely not like that. Could it be fake?Saw this Bleu de France H diagonal on an auction site. What would cause that colour on the back of the band? It’s even across the full band so it can’t be sweat or from usage?

I think it’s real as I’ve bought from the seller before and all his stuff seems to be genuine. That’s weird. I have that band and mine is definitely not like that. Could it be fake?
I think it’s the way it photographs because the back of the band has perforations. I’ll post pics shortly- can’t sleep. I’ll go through these and find the band. These are ALL MY HERMES LEATHER BANDS, lol! None of these are my Kilim bands. HA!I think it’s real as I’ve bought from the seller before and all his stuff seems to be genuine.
That’s probably why this is being sold 50% cheaper than the rouge one that he has.
Wouldn’t navy match deep navy?
I don’t have that color, but I think it looks similar to midnight blue, isn’t it?Wouldn’t navy match deep navy?
Sure but midnight blue and navy are discrete concepts, like in the larger world of color and fashion. Late night versus the ocean.I don’t have that color, but I think it looks similar to midnight blue, isn’t it?
45 😔The fauve grained barenia rallye still might be my #1 band

It’s not nylon vs leather. In the last year or two the hole positions changed on the swift bands (not sure if it did on other leathers) so some of my older swifts fit better than the newer ones. Like my ideal size is between holes. After criticizing the Swift leather and saying I would be interested in the Fauve if only I could find a new one...I did, on eBay. Not NIB, but very definitely genuine to my eye, the only "wear" I can see is a try-on crease on the near hole and darkening from the amount of time that's passed. Happy to get this since it appears from my research the last time it was offered in the smaller size was Series 6 - back in 2020.
One thing I'm surprised by is that the holes are further out than on my S9 nylon band. Surprised because, if one were to change the hole locations, I'd think you'd want to move them in to accommodate leather stretching. Is this others' experience comparing between leather and nylon straps? It means I have to use one hole smaller on the leather. Which my wrist size will accommodate, luckily...

Aha! Hadn't thought of that. Perhaps un petit pas recognizing the smaller straps are still too big for even some women...It’s not nylon vs leather. Any theories as to why Hermes decided to re-configure the holes in the strap? It’s not nylon vs leather. This makes sense now! I wear my leather and jumping bands on the tightest hole. I wear my Toile H and Kilim bands on the second tightest hole since they wouldn’t tighten to the tightest hole. Now I know why! After criticizing the Swift leather and saying I would be interested in the Fauve if only I could find a new one...I did, on eBay.
