I had the orange Hermes sports band (bought it from ebay a while back), but I was not finding myself wearing it as it didn't standout compared to my other sports bands, including the NIKE ones with the holes that I preferred. I ended up selling it some months ago.

I felt similar initially to spending a high cost on the jumping bands also when they were first released, but the orange/blue jumping band ended up becoming one of my fav bands in my collection because it stood out and the orange was so vibrant against the blue! The Kilim band does look like a standout, but I agree that the fact that it is rubber is what's a hesitation for me. Seems like its worth a try esp with Apple's return policy and effortless returns in store if I dont like it.
I got rid of my Orange/Blue Jumping band because it was not comfortable, the colors were muted and felt like a $100 band. I guess we all have different opinions so I am curious to hear your thoughts on the Kilim band Once you get it?

I appreciate the simplicity and comfort of the Hermes Orange sports band. For me, it’s 3 holes casual and 2 holes for a heavy workout. Kilim is same rubber, but nicer because of the clasp. For me that’s a negative because of the cold stainless against my skin and it’s a hassle to change holes. You basically set it once and forget it.

Ah, got you! Definitely I think the non-leather Hermes bands are a bit polarizing for me and many given the cost of them. Looks like my orange Kilim already shipped (2 hours after ordering it lol) as per Apple! If the orange one seems not worth it when I get it, will cancel the blue as well which says would ship in Nov.

I was a little concerned about the metal deployment clasp being uncomfortable. I have a few Hermes leather bands but none with the deployment clasp. I plan to cont to use my nike sport bands and sport loops (the game royal/orange being my go to of the new bands!) for the Gym I think but wouldnt mind using the Kilim just day to day and not having to worry about getting wet, so hopefully the deployment buckle will not be uncomfortable given my uses.

Funny that I've never been a big fan of orange bands or the orange color, but that Orange/blue jumping band got me onto the orange bandwagon and the Orange Kilim looks like the standout color of all the Kilim bands. Hoping also the color will not clash with a lot of my outfits. Will report back once I get it for sure!

Does anyone happen to know if the Navy/Rouge Twill Jump is actually going to be made in the 45mm size? I have never seen one for sale and Apple’s main band page says that it is 41mm only. But the product page for the band has a 45mm option and product images for the 45mm size. You just can’t actually order it.

I would chalk it up to the 45mm option being an error on Apple’s site. But the Noir/Gold also says 41mm only on the main band page. But it too has a 45mm option and you can actually buy it. So I don’t know what to think!

Check the Hermès website - what they have and what Apple has doesn’t always match and of course Apple won’t sell any leather bands but Hèrmes does.

I just received my Kilim band. I normally wear my Hermes leather and Jumping bands on the third hole from the end. With the Kilim band, on that hole it is looser. Has anyone found that as well?

Well after nearly one month to the day of regularly checking the Apple website (is 3-4 times a day too much?), after that stupid order pickup fiasco, it finally shows up. Wasn't there when I checked earlier around lunch time.

Tuesday is like that Carole King song, So Far Away.

The two halves of the band are different lengths than the leather or textile bands and the deployment buckle being thicker may alter sizing further.

I've wanted a klim band but it's too big for my wrist :/, and they won't punch holes at the store.

I've also seen the hermes apple wallet, not that practical after all

@i505 Do you wear it looser or tighter? Should a finger be able to fit under the deployment clasp? How to gauge the correct tightness? I might be between holes.
I wear the Kilim bands one hole looser than the leather and jumping bands. I am able to fit a finger under the buckle when worn this way.

I haven’t been checking at all, then randomly looked yesterday and there they were. Ordered the orange one. It’s coming tomorrow! Didn’t even know Sunday deliveries were a thing.

Am considering selling my black leather deployment and / or Hermes sports strap if I really like the Kilim. (And to set off the cost!)

Hoping it fits!

You can wear it whatever fees the most comfortable to you. I normally use the 2nd hole for my leather bands but with the Kilim and my jumping tour I use the 3rd hole. I don’t care really which one works as long as it’s comfortable.

@hufflematt i would hang on to the leather deployment and have both. Are you considering the Kilim would then become your daily driver? I wonder how the Kilim would hold up to daily use? I am prone to skin rashes so I need to see how I do with my one Kilim band. I’m on day two and so far no rash.

Yes. If it looks and feels as good as I’m expecting. I’ve not had problems with sports straps before in terms of rashes, so I’m not worried about that.

I don’t have to sell the leather deployment, it’s more to assuage my guilt at impulse-buying the Kilim. Which I had to do because it looks so good and everyone says how great it is.

I would definitely sell the Hermes orange sports strap, which would be redundant. I think they maybe sell for a premium?

@hufflematt i would love the orange Kilim, but it would upset my husband who has very traditional notions of watch band colors. He does not like anything that calls attention. The Kilim is my first deployment. I am wondering if I should order another Kilim or go with Hermes leather deployment or consider the Apple link bracelet. I like buying from the Apple Store b/c it’s easy to return if anything does not work out. Hermes on the other hand really does not allow returns. I am undecided.

I’m all about the Hermes orange! The other options don’t interest me at all.

I’ve been holding out for the Orange Kilim and missed the window. Now I’m wondering if I should get khaki, which is available, and whether it’s at all “vibrant” in color or very muted. Wanted something that stood out.
