I think no band, as long it’s priced near a vanilla Stainless Steel, its a yoink. Don’t underestimate the power of hte faces until you’ve met them lol.I'm more annoyed with the ones that don't include the leather band but are priced as if they include the leather band
This has been my favorite tray: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/hermes-edition-owners-thread.1999198/post-31603700reopening an old conversation - best band tray / case / etc?
Seen that- might give in and try to make it.This has been my favorite tray: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/hermes-edition-owners-thread.1999198/post-31603700
ya.I mean are you OK with a scratched up SSS that you can Cape Cod back to health? I know you’re mostly targeting SBSS but still…
I do this but on eBay and get $600, which after eBay fees is about $500 in my pocket.Every year I sell my Hermes watch without the leather bands but with the Hermes sports band. It come in the original Hermes boxes and the only item used is the watch. I sell it for the exact same price every year $500 and I think the buyer is getting a reasonable deal. They get the watch, a brand new Hermes exclusive sports band, the original box with completely unused charger and cable and a whole year of Apple warranty since Hermes Apple Watches have a 2 year warranty. I think it’s a pretty good deal for $500 and I have been able to sell it every year since Series 3 when I started buying the Hermes Apple Watch. I do this rather than sell it back to Apple because I really want someone else to enjoy owning the Hermes watch with their beautiful exclusive watch faces and I get more $ than I would if I sold it back to Apple and they get to have a Hermes Apple Watch at a price point that is more affordable.
I've got to ask, where do your suits and shirts come from?
The shirts are mostly Paul Smith. Suits, jackets and trousers are more of a mix: Paul Smith, Thom Sweeney, Orlebar Brown, some vintage (bespoke, Aquascutum, Burberry)...I've got to ask, where do your suits and shirts come from?
In reference to above discussion regarding best band tray / case, does anybody have experience with

I waited to show off till I'd received my last band (snagged an Epsom Agate off Ebay). I started a few weeks after the series 9 came out. I didn't even know Hermes did an AW collab till then, but once I found out I clearly went for it pretty hard (no Christmas gifts for me or anyone else this year!). The only band I'd really love to add is the Saphir Epsom, but it seems quite rare. Athousandbands was mentioning that the Saphir is much richer and less flat than the Agate, so I think it would be a nice compliment to my collection. Will do, I may do a spread of all my bounty from the past month, which is when I caught the fever.
Good Lord! I’m having serious 45mm envy. Also you need more Kilims lol!I waited to show off till I'd received my last band (snagged an Epsom Agate off Ebay). I think my faves so far are the Bambou, Lime Epsom (a strange combo of bold and understated IMO) and the cuff (I was able to find it on a Japanese site for ~$275 as it was sold with a series 1 watch and I don't think it was on many people's radar because the cuff wasn't the first pic on the listing). I also don't know if I actually got the Colvert or not (again a Japanese buyer) . It appears almost navy in this pic, but in other lighting it a come across as closer to a dark teal. Definitely darker than I was hoping for, but an unusual color nonetheless.
I also included 2 non-Hermes bands -- the Magnetic loop and a rubber Nomad for the gym. Would love to hear what others think I should add to to round out my collection (brick red, noir, and blanc) have all come to mind -- but I just don't think I'd use them that often. Oh and the Equateur sounds amazing, but I believe I fancy it almost solely because it's so unobtainable and I want to be a Hermes user as opposed to a collector! Te-hehe, thanks -- I did go just a bit overboard!Good Lord! I’m having serious 45mm envy. Also you need more Kilims lol!
Spectacular collection! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Wowza! You really went all in! Love the collection! Glad to see you found a lime.Te-hehe, thanks -- I did go just a bit overboard!
I really do like the Kilim look and fit, but I wasn't into any of the other colors to be honest. Hopefully more Kilim options for the spring will entice me. Perhaps it's a case of certain colors just not working with my skin tone, but both the navy and burgundy were both surprisingly blah when I tried them on. I do love the Bridon bands -- and I'm sure I'm in the minority here but I think the Braidon style was the best band of this latest collection. I wish the 41mm Bridon colors came in 45mm too!
Thanks Btrach for starting this thread and for the encouragement early on. Even though you didn't sell me your lime (I did find one for less than 5K )-- but it was still by far the most expensive band I bought. No regrets though as they do seem very hard to find.Wowza! You really went all in! Love the collection! Glad to see you found a lime.
