I waited to show off till I'd received my last band (snagged an Epsom Agate off Ebay). I started a few weeks after the series 9 came out. I didn't even know Hermes did an AW collab till then, but once I found out I clearly went for it pretty hard (no Christmas gifts for me or anyone else this year!). The only band I'd really love to add is the Saphir Epsom, but it seems quite rare. Athousandbands was mentioning that the Saphir is much richer and less flat than the Agate, so I think it would be a nice compliment to my collection.

I think my faves so far are the Bambou, Lime Epsom (a strange combo of bold and understated IMO) and the cuff (I was able to find it on a Japanese site for ~$275 as it was sold with a series 1 watch and I don't think it was on many people's radar because the cuff wasn't the first pic on the listing). I also don't know if I actually got the Colvert or not (again a Japanese buyer) . It appears almost navy in this pic, but in other lighting it a come across as closer to a dark teal. Definitely darker than I was hoping for, but an unusual color nonetheless.

I also included 2 non-Hermes bands -- the Magnetic loop and a rubber Nomad for the gym. Would love to hear what others think I should add to to round out my collection (brick red, noir, and blanc) have all come to mind -- but I just don't think I'd use them that often. Oh and the Equateur sounds amazing, but I believe I fancy it almost solely because it's so unobtainable and I want to be a Hermes user as opposed to a collector! You’re killing it. Props for the stealth eBay pull. I feel only got my NBE yoink because it was upside down in the cover photo.

I’ve never seen Agate in the flesh but I think it’s “greener Saphir.” Saphir is def deeper, I wonder if it’s actually more saturated than Agate. Either way nice find you don’t see a lot of Agate around.

Loving your biscuit, lime, BL/VV. Those are elite level. Are you gonna go after the bicolor or Della Cavalleria (horsey rope beton bands)?

Hoping for more pop/intrigue from Bridon and Kilim colors of the future like moy. I also feel like we won’t see new Kilim colors in spring/summer? Or maybe just one?

LOS ANGELES BABY!!
Thanks Btrach for starting this thread and for the encouragement early on. Even though you didn't sell me your lime (I did find one for less than 5K ;))-- but it was still by far the most expensive band I bought. No regrets though as they do seem very hard to find.
Congrats!!! So happy you found the beauty of the Hermes Apple Watch and it’s never too late. What’s important is that you enjoy your purchases!!

Brique/Étain Hermès Double Tour

L1011974-Enhanced-NR.jpg

One of the things I love about the Double Tours is how you can mix and match them to create new variations. This is a combination of the buckle end of the Brique/Béton Della Cavalleria print band, and the long end of the Noir/Brique/Étain band.

Now this is what I call showing off! What an awesome „starter collection“. 🤩 The only „gap“ I would see spontaneously is a nice Rouge, but maybe red isn‘t your thing? I can‘t believe you found a Lime Epsom, and in such a short amount of time, too. 😲 I chased one for years until I just gave up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At least it wasn‘t a steal, then. 😉

Graci, graci

The Agate is lighter than the photos I took suggests (damn winter lighting!). It sort of reminds me of a primary blue that's just a hint lighter (similar to the Lime having a lot of whiteness to it). I like it because it's not too bright. From the few photos of Saphir that I've seen it almost has a violet or purple aspect to it, which I find pretty groovy. All this should be taken with a grain of salt though as I'm somewhat colorblind 🥴.

Thanks for the compliment. The biscuit was hard to find (another Japanese user had one for about $180 so I was tickled to snatch it up). It's a little flashy for my taste, but the color combo was too alluring. I'm not really into the bicolor or the Della Cavelleria, but I can see how a lot of buyers would be as they definitely have an elegance about them.

Well put -- pop intrigue. Yea I definitely like the subtle colors for the khaki and blue/grey/black Bridon's I have, but I was drawn more immediately to the 41mm red and blue versions as they just seemed more fun and seemed to fit the fabric more. Your bet has been wagered for either 0 or 1 new Kilim in the spring/sum!

Well said Dstopsie! I was a "collector" when I was younger and I really have worked hard to resist that temptation as it's about enjoyment and not putting these things behind glass cases. That said it will be a sad day when my Bambou starts to loose it's pigment, or my Lime Epsom gets all scratched up -- but that day will come.

The current Kilim colors just feel so suited to be evergreens.

And Apple has not been afraid to do a huge spring Hermes line ever, obviously the insane margins quickly recoup losses of unpopular SKUs, but surely much of the debut Vegan Era collection has to stick around because there’s just so many.

Yeah Biscuit is a little flashy/Burberry for me but luckily the 🍪 color suits my skin.

Oh yes, I'd love to see it! I saw a lot of people showing pics of their newest find on their wrist which is really the best way to showcase, but it's really exciting to see the entirety of other people's collection all at once.

Thanks Future! I think I have a rogue in there (to the left of to the diagonal H gold), but perhaps you're thinking of a lighter shade? I'm not familiar with all the rogues that were produced (sounds like a lot over several years) but mine is the attelage variety. If you're referring to a lighter rogue then yea, that probably will be my next band (once I find that damned saphir epsom 😁).

It was hard to find that lime, but I did finally snag one on Postmark. No it was... $800😖. Got them down a bit from $900. I know it's funny money but I really wanted the lime, so I splurged (and rationalized the purchase because I got some pretty good deals in Japan on a lot of these other bands). It was brand new though and is probably my fav band, so yea worth it to this deluded soul.

This may have already come up before, but the websites FromJapan and Buyee are both really great resources to find bands at a decent price. The Yen is way down these days, there's no sales tax, and if you pick the cheaper shipping option it's usually only about $20-30 to ship. They aggregate a lot of the sites, not just the big ones like Mercari and Rakuten, so you can really get a sense of the Japanese market. These sites cater to American's buying things from Japan, so once you buy it the band ships to their warehouse in Japan and then they ship it to you. Sometimes it's an auction and other times it's a buy it now. There are definitely gems to be had.

I think you're right -- they feel classic.

Haha, vegan era! This newbie has never seen a S/S release before, so yea I'm definitely curious to see where they go with it in 2024.

You nailed it with the Burberry comment, that was my thoughts exactly. Not something I'd usually choose, but it's compelling for some reason. Glad it works for your skin tone. I'm pretty pale/pasty so I think it kinda works for me too in a different way.

Haha Burberry is so deeply British at the end of the day, so yes it also works. I’m just obsessed with the nude look, especially since Apple clearly couldn’t get ppl to buy earth/skin tone bands and stopped trying after Walnut (although I’ve just gotten Clay SpBa finally…)

I was lucky to get Lime Epsom at retail as my first ever Hermes purchase (though had been sampled Colvert by an employee), so hard to find. Though I will say I’ve sliiightly soured on epsom, maybe because just zero face color support, since face colors really didn’t kick into gear until Fall 2020. I think I’d be pretty happy with Lime Swift in its place, though the durability of epsom is nice.

Ah, for some reason I read that as dark brown, but it is Rouge H! Very nice. Lighter Reds in the bigger Watch size are slim-to-one, we only got Rouge Piment, actually.

What you need is the Bandbreite app. All official Apple/Hermès/Nike straps ever released, all in one place. Also ideal to curate your collection!

Enjoy every single minute with it, mate. I cannot count the number of times I kicked myself for not buying this band when it was first released.

Also, I know very well the old „just compute the average price“ mind trick 😂

The lime swift is a gorgeous color, and if I recall you mainly wear a 41mm. For some reason the 45mm yellow swift is way to garish, but the 41mm swift lime is pretty sublime (no pun intended).

Well then that's what I'll have to get -- rogue pigment it is! Do you find yourself wearing it much? That's my concern that I won't wear it that often, but then again I really shouldn't care as it will look amazing when I do wear it.

Thanks, I'm already on Bandbreite -- I was just too lazy to look at it to see what other rogues were on there when I made my earlier post 😜. It's a great resource.

Ok, this is a longshot for you Future... Before I spent a kings ransom on my lime epsom I was trying to get this seller (who's on Poshmark in Canada) to sell me hers. She hasn't responded to anyone for months, so she may have forgotten about this listing, but you could always reach out to her and ask if she's willing to sell to you whenever she does pop her head back up (and if I hear from her [cause you'll see my inquiry to her as the last note in the Postmark thread] then I'd be happy to direct her to you instead). If you're not able to access the below link then you might need a Poshmark account to view (which isn't a bad idea as they do have some Apple Hermes bands up).

I don‘t have it, actually, as the Rouge/Kraft Jumping Tour scratched my Rouge itch nicely already. 😊

First of all, this is super nice of you! 🙏

The listing looks good, too (even if mislabled as Jaune Ambre), price is right … but Poshmark only works within North America, doesn‘t it? Because I‘m in Europe, actually …

Edit: when trying to create an account, the only european country selectable is the UK (I‘m in Germany). The other countrys are USA, Canada, Australia and India. So strange …
