So the 90% off employee fire sale of Hermes bands has, thus far, come to absolutely nothing on the resale market in the States. If anything I’ve just seen bands like Vert Rousseau offered for near retail, well more than before when the employee ebayer was letting EPP orders go for under 200usd

Either the deluge is yet to come or they just didn’t have that many to sell? Or all the buyers are not of a flipping orientation?

I've been keeping an eye out too and nothing in the UK. I have only looked at eBay and similar...and I really don trust them at all. Where do you look?

Tech we have to wait 1 year to sell them. Apple can audit the person who got them for us and request proof we still have the band. Unable to provide proof=employees termination.

**This is for warehouse employees, retail may differ

eBay (probably most of my yoinks don’t ship overseas, and almost certainly Apple’s EPP store doesn’t) and my American sites Mercari and Poshmark US…I swear most come from here in California.

Collection would be nothing without residence in the US, I reckon

Not sure if anyone mentioned it here but I just saw that they released a loop without the case for airpods pro 2:

Quite expensive just for a loop IMO

Finding that Hermes leather bands are a bit too dainty for daily wear; perhaps others have had the same experience.

Based on feedback from this forum, was able to get a navy Kilim from Hermes store as Apple have been out of Navy version for some time.

Actually navy looked the best when directly compared to all other colors of the Kilim in the store, but that may be my bias/personal preference.

Very comfortable to wear, deployment clasp is much easier to deal with, and despite being "rubber" looks rather upscale (approved by wife, who is not easily swayed).

Dainty physically or stylistically?

Hello!

Where can someone get hermes leather bands for cheaper?
You might have luck on eBay, Mercari, Poshmark, etc.

Also as @sdpur mentioned you might want to look at some Japanese sites from the post below. I took a peek and the prices can be cheaper.

Love the synchronicityof space and time! One thing I have not seen mentioned on the Bridon is how unbelievably soft it is on the wrist. I thought Hérmes Leather was silk, but every time I put on the Bridon band, it is just such a comfortable feeling. Is that true of the DT, as I have the Single?

It is, yes! A few people have compared it to a sweater and it indeed is like a comfy cardigan you might hug yourself up in. And it's SO light.

I went to do a lug swap on 2 of my bands. I have the correct lug screwdriver. Some of the lug screw are stripped though. I do have replacement screws if I can get the old one out. Does anyone have ideas for how to get the stripped screws out?

Bob Vila does, but you're not gonna like it...

I've had the same issue. I was able to remove stripped screws from my lugs using the smallest slotted screwdriver from one of those eyeglass repair screwdriver kits. By applying some pretty good pressure and turning slowly, I was able to remove the old screws without too much difficulty. Good luck!

Thanks, I appreciate the reply... I did see this, and I did try the bigger screwdriver and the rubber band trick. These little screws are very stripped. I was hoping someone here had run into the same problem with these little lug screws.

No problem! Stripped screws are SO frustrating. I can’t even imagine it on something as small and delicate as a watch band.

Thanks for the reply. I tried this to no avail. These suckers seem to be very rounded off.

So then, my conundrum. I am asking on here as I know which way it will go!

£400 of apple vouchers left. My options:

1. Trade in my Ultra 1 to Apple for £340 and get an Ultra 2 for effectively £60
2. Buy a Kilim band (I am partial to the Rouge H for some reason) and still have £101 of vouchers left.
3. Buy a Hermes S9 with Rouge H band for £1279, no trade in as my Hermes S7 is only 'worth' £140 and I want to have an Ultra as well, so I spend £879 and get a S9 and a Kilim
4. Do nothing. Look at the vouchers in my account and pat myself on the back for not wasting them on goods I dont need :)
I love the Rouge H Kilim!! Beautiful warm and rich color!!! Have been wearing it this week!!

I bought my first Hermes with the Barenia leather in Deployment Buckle last month, it is so nice wearing it.
It's still stiff and tough to pull through the leather rings. Should I use a conditioner?

Below is the Pins & Buckle Barenia leather band in 44mm. It smells nice, not exactly like the Hermes Barenia.
The markings are not as precise, and it's noticeably thicker. The feel is not as velvety as Hermes, but under $100 with shipping from Australia. Takes about a month.

How the Pins & Buckle looks with Apple Watch Ultra

View attachment 2109125
Just happened to see this older post. The Pin & Buckle band looks pretty impressive, even compared to the Hermès band. The stitching isn't quite as thick and doesn't have the three back-stitched segments, but the stitches are angled the same direction that Hermès uses. You rarely see that with other leather bands - very nice touch.

Whoever was asking earlier about the Lanyard, mine arrives tomorrow so will post some pictures shortly.

I also ordered this from Lucrin, close enough in colour but it won’t be as good a leather as the Hermes AirPods Pro case, but I’m fine with paying a lot less!

It’s next to my Single Tour band.

Try not to hate me, but I’ve decided to sell my AWH and bands in favour of buying an Ultra. Ultra has been ordered: Amazon will give me till the end of January to change my mind.

I have the AWH8, black leather deployment and orange Kilim.

My question is whether anyone can advise on selling strategy.

First off: do I sell each item separately (so watch with no strap). Do I bundle the watch with one strap (which?) and sell the other separately?

Next: timing. Is the period between Christmas and New Year a good time to sell? Or should I wait till maybe the end of January after payday?

Finally: where? EBay? Vinted? Here? (I know there’s a specific forum for this.) I’m a UK seller.

Are second-hand AWH and bands getting good prices? With the leather ones being no longer sold by Apple, is there a healthy market in second-hand ones? I have all the original boxes (and ribbon!). Does that add to the value?

I may keep the orange sports strap that comes with the AWH. (Or should that be bundled with the watch, with the other two straps sold separately?)
