A random question - I am on the phone to Apple as my jumping band connector has fallen off - only the screw is missing. They (when the advisor can find th part number) are going to send me a replacement (I know, I know a new band for a missing screw).

Does anyone have a link to a band connector and tool so I can fix this one? As I say it is only the tiny screw that has come out.

Thanks :)

Thanks!!!!

Well that is a result - I remembered I had an iFixit kit and looked and one was in there :)

I also had an Ali express old band that I bought absolutely years ago and it had the same screw. Just used the screw from that in the original band and now my Jumping is fixed :)

Realised that the screw must have been missing as it cant unscrew whilst connected due to the way it goes in the watch.

Still got Apple calling back tomorrow as they couldn't find the band to replace. I wont push it now if they want me to send the watch and band in :)

Yeah I’ve had random screws save me like that. But know when I see you in these streets I will clock your non-oem pentalobe drive shape.

I tried asking Apple’s chat support about the length of the two parts of Hermès’ textile/leather straps (42mm), but they had no more info than what wrist size it should fit. I’d really appreciate if someone could measure the two strap parts (for the 42mm watch, as mentioned). :)

Def fake. The typeface on the lugs is all wrong and not even centered. I’m sure if we saw the buckle the maker’s mark wouldn’t be engraved.

It’s this I think:

I agree, as I follow EBay listings frequently and have noticed couple of sellers from China selling these fake bands, this will create problems for people trying to buy Kilim’s down the road on EBay. I’m surprised EBay or Hermes hasn’t shut them down yet.

Oh eBay has given up. They used to actually heed my reports but now it’s hit or miss and I’ve stopped (like very obvious fake Ultras).

I think they’ve massively cut down their human staff.

Kilims are still super rare tbh, especially non-orange and noir. Switzerland get your act together!
