I know its been confirmed but after 1 week of S10 Hermes, I have 0 scratches. I would usually have a few on my SS models, so I def believe Apple put some type of coating on this. Im sure itll get scratched eventually.

Pro tip because the actual band is not in great condition: you can swap that with the regular single tour band and keep the cuff part which seems to be in great shape. I did that on my cuff because I didn’t like the original buckle on that band.

US Hermes site has 42mm Beton in stock. Apple in my experience doesn’t restock that quickly, it’s hit and miss, and for me it was more miss than hit with them..
46mm in stock in UK, no sign of Bleu. I am torn now...wait for what i originally wanted, buy the Beton or go the whole hog and get a S10 with Beton as £300 of the £1200 is for a band so I am 'only' spending £900 on an upgrade......

However, S7 Hermes is on 82% battery, just need to get it down 3% and can get a 'new' one on AC+. Oh decisions, decisions.....

I have three deployment bands for my S10. Two Kilim and one leather. Any way of determining how loose or tight they should be? My wrist is 7 inches. I have my Kilim bands on the fourth hole. Should you be able to get a finger under the clasp?

The Palladium Plated Étrivière Buckle is quite large

I think that's very much a personal preference. For me, outside of working out, I prefer the strap loose. On a hot summer day outside, even more loose at times.

I'd be curious if anyone's noticed their 45 or 41mm bands to be a bit tighter than their respective 46/42mm bands due to the increase in case height of the S10?

Anyone have an S10 and an S7/8/9 to compare old and new bands?

The Beton is a beautiful colored Kilim. Especially with the matching face. I would get it because I think the Bleu is going to be a hard find on the Apple Store. If you don’t get it and then it goes out of stock and then the Bleu never restocks from Apple, then you’re out of luck on both bands. Especially given how quickly the Kilim bands went out of stock with the Series 10 release, at least here in the US they did.

The S10 watch is thinner. The S10 Kilim deployment bands are thinner and more flexible than for the older series.

In the AW cycle (excl Ultra) there's a redesign year, a minor update year, and a processor update year.

S10 is the redesign year. So you know what you'll be expecting next year. However, buying a used S10 at a good discount next year will probably be the best bang for your buck opportunity in the 3-year cycle.

The Kilim bands I had for comparison were from the S7. I find the S10 ones to be thinner.
Do you mean series 9 Kilim bands? There were no Kilim bands released for series 7 that I know of. I definitely agree on the flexibility being much better in the new ones. Maybe they had a lot of them tear like my orange one did last year.

I believe they meant the 45/41mm bands, as the fit would be the same for S7/8/9 models.

I'm curious about the differences between the 2023 and 2024 releases. There are some used 2023 Kilims I'm eyeing, but if the 2024 version is better, I'll pass on those.

I contacted Hermes customer service (UK), and while they didn’t have any specific info on improvements, they did say they’re always looking to enhance their products. It likely depends on who you ask, but if there are changes, they’re not widely shared yet. In the luxury world, admitting improvements might imply last year's wasn't perfect, so it's hard to know!

No. I purchased my Kilim bands in 2023. I used them with my S7 Hermes SBSS 45mm.

I don’t see any differences between last years and this year except this year is a bit more flexible for me. I have high inflammation throughout my body due to an autoimmune disease and te 46mm just fits me better which could just be cause its size is a bit better fit for me. The rubber is more flexible to me. That’s just my personal observation. I dont see any difference in their thickness, is just the material itself is perhaps not as stiff as the prior version

the 45 and 46mm Kilim bands are def diff. The 45mm third hole was the best for me but it would dig a little in my wrist.

the same hole for the 46 has no digging and fits much better
