For my part, going from an SE2 (40mm) to a Series 10 (42mm), I must say I prefer the fit of the SE2. Taking the sport band as an example: on the SE2, the fourth hole felt perfect—neither too loose nor too tight. With the Series 10, however, the fourth hole is a bit too loose, while the fifth hole feels just a bit too tight. :/ Same with the Kilim strap: the last (seventh) hole feels too tight, while the previous (sixth) hole could be a bit tighter.

EDIT: Just tried my Kilim strap on the SE2. It fits my wrist perfectly on the sixth hole. God, I wish it was the other way around... 🤣

Has anyone got the knit torsade single or double tour? Keen to know what it’s like to wear and its durability?

The marketing images of the 42mm in Vert look good.

@Fried Potato Can you clarify something for me? When you say the seventh hole, is that where the band come to a “point” or is that closest to the lugs? Thanks so much.

Closest to the lugs (the tightest hole). :)

By the way, I just saw that the orange single loop (leather) strap is in stock. The thing is that it's the 41mm model. Do you guys think there's a chance that they might release it in a 42mm size in due time, or should I go for the 41mm version, even though the lugs won't fill in all the way?

I um’d and ah’d about opening my Etoupe since tour Apple Watch because it was 41 and not 42. I was going to go and try to exchange it and then I slowly realised they don’t have Etoupes etc in 42 even though website says it. I used it and honestly you can’t tell unless you stare at it.

KMIA
3 bands today with my 46mm series 10.

The silver titanium back on the new series 10 is really nice! Something you really only notice when putting on the watch but huge step up appearance wise.

Béton Kilim is a stunner and IMO, the best looking Kilim yet.

Vert moyen Kilim pairs well with Hermes gold leather accessories.

Personally, the torsade is a let down. It’s a Bridon 2.0. I would return it but I got it with my watch and I’m not going through that hassle. You can see that the loop to secure the tongue of the band is really large. You could secure two bands in it. Overall not the quality you would expect in a $350 band. The only positive that I see with it is that the band is very soft.

The best textile Hermes band from my experience is the tricot. It actually looked like the marketing photos. Both the bridon and torsade look like renderings used in the marketing photos.

Other thoughts: wow, the bezel on the series 10 is massive. It’s giving series 0 vibes. A huge step backwards. Lastly, another big step back is the lack of O2 sensor for us USA folks. For a premium product, it shouldn’t be going backwards like this.

3 bands I’m waiting on: grand H, bleu de France Kilim, 46mm happi double tour gold.

Bonus: was in Paris last weekend and picked up a Hermes MagSafe wallet and men’s bracelet in gold leather among other items. My wife and I were able to enjoy some champagne while shopping with our sales associates, which was fun! 🍾🥂
How many cards can you fit into the MagSafe wallet? I am interested in getting it but the Hermes website doesn't really say how many cards it fits.

It's advertised for one on the Hermès website. Can fit 2. Definitely not 3 without stretching it to the point you think you're gonna damage it.

Hi, can you help me determine if this 45mm Orange Kilim band is real? I ordered it last week, and it just came in. Here are a few pictures.

Isn’t it crazy how the tiny difference between two sizes can do that?

Hole 4 is just slightly too loose, but the next hole down it notably too tight. It’s just a difference of millimeters.

This is also why I tend to avoid metal links - I can never find a comfortable spot considering how large the links are.

This looks real. I have never seen a rep band where they get the embossing correct. Made for Apple Watch is centered.

Can you post the side view of the bands?

Hermes has a unique fluoroelastomer casting, so the seams of the casting follow the design of the band. I don’t believe a rep would have the same casting lines Hermes does.

Could you please measure how long your Etoupe strap (the individual pieces) is? I'd really appreciate it! :) Can't find any info when googling and Apple had no information when I contacted them.

LOS ANGELES BABY!!
What’s this nonsense with Apple having all the Kilim colors with the 46mm s10 watch Unavailable? This has to be some marketing stunt right? Making me want it more knowing it’s unavailable lol
Apple is super slow on the restock of anything Hermes. I haven’t found a release where when the initial release is sold out they fully restock. It’s hit and miss with them. When the watch becomes available after the event, I order it and the bands I like asap. Then when they come I decide if I want to keep them. If I don’t I return them. Otherwise if I don’t do this, it’s constantly checking their site in the hopes they restock.. Hermes restocks, Apple not so much.

Agreed, Apple doesn't seem to really restock Hermes in past seasons.

If anyone is looking, your best place is to start on Hermes.
