Might I ask how you polished it? I asked a local jeweler today and he said that it’s a rather time consuming thing to do and it’d cost around $150 (roughly converted).
Yeah, I wouldn‘t spend $150 lol.

I first attached all of my spare links back onto the bracelet, then separated half of the links and set them aside before masking the remaining half of the bracelet with painters tape. I used two clamps to hold the exposed edge of the bracelet upright and used Flitz polish with my Dremel and a polishing wheel. I repeated this process three more times for the rest of the bracelet.

Having never done this before on the link bracelet, I took a lot of meticulous steps and everything took about 90 minutes. I wanted to ensure I didn't screw anything up so I took my time.

The Fauve barénia is still my favorite band to pair with the watch. Mine has the attelage lugs, but I swapped the tang-style buckle with the deployment clasp from my ébene band, which I don't wear as often. I love pairing it with the indigo Circulaire face. It's my usual go-to face for the weekend.
Yep Fauve paired with the indigo Circulaire face is hands down my favorite look for the watch. I’m wearing that combination right now actually. I’ve had my Fauve strap since the S6 and it has aged beautifully.

I see you masked off the brushed edge, which was something I'd considered. Did you at all find that polishing the edges rounded the hard edges of the bracelet? I'm also wondering how the edges of the links appear as they start to curve inward - still brushed, or did the polishing make it all the way down?

I wish I could put all of my Hermès bands on deployment buckles.
I followed the example of a couple folks in this thread that swapped the deployment buckles from their Hermes Kilim bands to their Hermes leather bands. This worked well for me since imo, the Kilim bands don't need a deployment band, while the leathers kinda do.

I do wish we could buy Apple/Hermes deployment clasps. I would prefer this to the swapping of clasps. But, so far I haven't found good 3rd party deployment clasps. 🤷🏽

On closer inspection, the polish didn't make it down the curve. I suppose I could separate the links individually and polish them all the way down, but when zoomed out they look consistent and are not noticeable.

The edges are kind of an optical illusion, at least to me. They *appear* rounded and softer, but when you lay the bracelet flat and look top down, the edges remain just as sharp as before.

Hi! Considering to buy my very first Apple Watch Hermès! Do you know what is happening with supply? I don't see even the option to order many AW Hermès configurations. I can wait that's not the issue, but I'm surprised to see how limited the options are right now
Do it, my first time owning a Hermes watch, I get it now. Just be careful, you’re going to go on a streak in buying bands, they add up quickly 😅

Me neither no deployment clasps that are Hermes replicas on Amazon.

I’m tempted to buy one of those fake kilim’s that are being advertised on eBay, just for the deployment buckle. Having Hand and finger disabilities, The Deployment makes it so easy to put on the wrist, as you can slide the band into the keeper, avoiding wear and tear on the band, and it would be especially helpful with the single jumping tour’s, to avoid having to bend the tough material. I wish Hermes would sell the buckle’s by themselves.

They never will though as then that would open up a whole world of real buckles with cheap leather/nylon. etc.

Shame though as I I love the deployment on the Kilim (my only band with a deployment) and wish I had it on my two Hermes leather bands I have.

I have the AW S10 and the one 46mm bleather deployment band Hermes is offering at this time. I am wanting to purchase a second leather deployment band, but can wait if need be. Should I also purchase a 45mm band or wait until they release another leather deployment band for the 46mm watch? Are there compatibility issues with the 45mm band when using with the 46mm watch? Currently I have two 46mm Kilim bands and the one 46mm leather deployment band Hermes offers.

I have 2 Hermes leather 45 mm deployment bands. I’ll check how they fit the 46mm series 10 a little later this morning.

The way I did it (thin discs) worked surprisingly well for this as it got into the crevasses between links. I also didn’t tape off the front and back, which may have helped.

Because of that, I made sure the direction of the spin was back to front so if it did start polishing the back, it wouldn’t matter as it couldn’t be seen while worn. Thankfully it didn’t and everything came out very clean!

However, this is most likely luck and a steady hand speaking.

Keep seeing all you with Kilim bands and I’m jealous.  stores all over SoCal are sold out. I check multiple times per day. I want to buy from  so I can return it if necessary. Hopefully they restock soon.

My SA at the Hermes store close to me has told me they are waiting for their shipment of S10 and associated bands. She told me they were expecting the shipment in October so I’m waiting.

Seeing all the Kilim bands on here has made me take off my Ultra and put on my Hermes with Orange Kilim now lol. It really is a thing of beauty and so comfortable.
