I would be extremely surprised if they limited the two tone faces to only the ones sold with the two tone bands.

But you never know.
i'm pretty sure they won't because you can purchase the two tone bands separately too so it would be weird for them to not offer it on all hermes edition.

I was just thinking that myself.

I’m agonising between heart and head. My heart wants the clown watch, my head says the plain blue.

i feel you but my choice is easier cause i have the old hermes blue band from two years back bought separately so blue is definitely out of my choice.

i can't agree to holes on my band and i want to feel that my watch is physically newer band-wise too so i'm not sure if i should clown it or just get the original brown.....such a difficult choice $$$$$$

I think it would be available to all Hermès.

It would be hard to program a software specific to a particular band!?!? Plus they sell the two tone bands separately now from day one.

I think I'm going for my first Hermès edition this time around!

Currently have a stainless S2, and way prefer the look of the stainless over aluminum, so the less expensive models are out of the question. But since I also already have my Milanese Loop, it seems silly to get another, or a rubber band. Have eyed the H editions forever, and love the watch faces.

Plus, even though these are pricier, they really retain their value! I've seen S1 H editions sell for $1k easily! Not to mention that the orange sport band can go for $200-300 on its own. Way smarter of an investment, especially if you want to upgrade yearly.

Going for the 40mm Single Tour in Fauve Barenia. Classic, simple, and chic.

I was horribly indecisive with the Series 3 and bought almost every band (and sent it back again). In the end I made a decision I regretted. I bought the watch with the Indigo Swift, but sold the strap and bought the Feu Epsom to replace it.

The Indigo Swift was elegant but a bit boring. But it was also insanely soft and comfortable. The Feu Epsom was great looking, but it stained easily and was very stiff and not comfortable. I ended up selling that strap, too, and now I just use the Hermes Sports strap.

I think I’m coming round to getting the Indigo Swift this time. As much as I love the clown strap, I think it’s going to be difficult to look after. White is a dangerous colour to wear.

Although I like the clown strap, I got stung with my old Hermes orange strap when it picked up ink from my hoodie and was permanently stained. The white in the clown strap will be even more susceptible to this.

So I may have to go with the pure blue — but will it still have the two tone Hermes watchface, as I really like that.
I’m guessing all the Hermes models will have all the two-tone watchfaces.

I’m a little disappointed in the 40mm band selection this year. They are really positioning the 40mm as the “women’s” watch and 44mm as the “men’s” this year. I would like the blue, white, and orange single tour with the 40mm, but they are offering it only in the double tour at 40mm.

Welcome to the family!

I'm not sure about them retaining their value. I just sold my S3 for 45% of the price I paid (sold for AUD$850 when I paid A$1850 last year with AppleCare+)

Thanks! Can't wait to order.

I was checking some luxury resale sights like TheRealReal.com, and they're going for maybe ~$100-200 less than retail value. I think the name carries way more value than a standard Apple Watch.

I'm thinking of getting the Hermes because it hasn't gone up in price vs the other AWs. :) Not the best reason to justify a purchase. :) Also, I have all the sports band that I want, but I really like the new multi complication face that's standard on all AWs.

Any deployment buckle owners here? Leaning that way this time around, but saw in another thread someone mentioning/complaining that unless ones wrist is the precise right size, the deployment part won't sit flat or comfortably on the wrist.

Any experience with this? Local stores around me don't have them available to try.

Generally those with larger wrists have reported concerns with this. I have a medium sized wrist and the deployment buckle has not caused a problem.

Thanks that's helpful. My wrists aren't large so I guess it shouldn't be an issue...

Going to be upgrading from S0 to S4. Thinking about getting an hermès edition but i have a question. Do you get all the hermès watch faces in the app to switch between? or is it only the watch face advertised on the site?

I'm pretty sure you get all of them. I count 6. I'm not a Hermes owner so I'm not sure. How many watch faces do you get with the Hermes AW?

I made the mistake earlier today of looking at the Apple.com website to check out the new watches and bands -- and of course spotted the new Hermes offerings. I'm tickled that at last I can get a Feu Epsom single tour band which should work nicely with my current 38mm Series 3 watch. However, now I'm drooling over that fascinating indigo/craic/orange band and watch face. Like KPOM, I wish that it also would come in the 40mm single tour rather than just the double tour.... I wear a lot of black, orange (my favorite color) and cream/beige, and I'm lusting after that particular color combination.....

Hi All,

I currently own an S1 aluminum Apple Watch. I plan on upgrading to an S4 SS LTE version. I really wanted a nice leather band and the Hermes editions really caught my eye. For those that own an S3 (or earlier) Hermes watch, any regrets? That $1299 price point is tough to swallow, but my current watch is the one thing I wear every day.
