I believe in that terminology, it states apple made accessories. Apple does not make the leather bands/etc. Hermes does in Paris. Apple does make the orange sport band so getting that replaced is very very easy. But they cant/have ever serviced Hermes made bands. It was all free, you are just without the band for several months. And they will not give you a new one, they will repair them all.

Pushing Apple works. One time I was able to get a free Hermes band bc Apple couldnt service it and at the time I was living in Hawaii. However that took a LOT of complaining and you need a lot of energy lol.
Good for you, and I appreciate your energy. I haven't got any. I hate talking to customer service.

Yeah those days are behind me. And it seems Apple has gotten so much more strict compared to prev years. Even asking to pay the $49 for a replacement orange Hermes sport band is a complete headache. I wear my orange band a lot and that thing wears down pretty quickly.

Try different regular sport band oranges. My favorites are Marigold and Cantaloupe. Bright Orange looks really awesome too. Yeah, I do anything to avoid talking to customer service.

And with Hermes leather bands, I understand now they are serviced by Hermes and rightly so. So it's like getting your Cartier/ Chopard leather band repaired, it just takes forever.

I love Bright Orange too, and Kumquat is a fave

LOS ANGELES BABY!!
My Hermes orange Kilim took 3.5 months to get it replaced. Had to go to a Hermes’s store send it in and then wait for them to decide it should finally be replaced. This was the single reason I boycotted the spring Kilim release because I was mad that I had to do all this in person and couldn’t send it in. For the last year I have been suffering horribly from an inflammatory autoimmune disease and pretty much stay home all the time because I am in too much discomfort to go anywhere. So I was so mad that I had to do it in person. I tried the whole Apple escalation thing, told them I bought the band through them, blah blah blah and got no where and I was sweet as pie.

That’s why with the series 10 I decided to try back the Kilim band again because it’s truly my favorite one I can wear every day around my house without worrying about ruining my leather strap.

Kilim Hardware Swap?

I am looking for some speculative input. I know my question comes down to personal preference, but I'd still like some opinions from the Hermes folks.

I have 4 Kilim bands, and both a Silver Ti Hermes watch, and a S10 Jet Black watch. While I plan to wear most of the Kilims with the Silver watch, I do have 1 set of Black Hardware that I could use with the Jet Black Watch.

I have the following Kilim colors:
- Orange
- Black/Noir
- Vert/Green
- Bleu de France

So if you have to pick one band, which would you put the black hardware on, to use with the Jet Black Watch?

Right now, I have the black hardware on the Bleu de France. I'll also include a shot of the Vert/Green band on the back watch (with Silver lugs), since I have those handy.

A Hermes without a leather Hermes watch band makes no sense to me.
Sure, if all you do is sit in an office and in front of the TV, leather is fine.

But if you lead an active lifestyle, beach, pool, working out... then a few of the textile bands and all of the Kilim bands are great for those activities.

I will say that every Hermes Series owner should have at least one leather band though.

I will say that I have worn my Naturel Sable leather single tour since it was released every day, all day, and have hardly noticed any wear-and-tear other than on the two loops that hold the excess strap on the bottom wrist, and even then it’s like more of a patina. That to me speaks to the quality of the product you get from craftsmanship like at Hermès. For a “delicate” color I would expect this to have been destroyed by now but it still pops like it did from day one.

I wear my Kilims when the color and style seem appropriate for the occasion and outfit, but all of this to say—the leather bands will hold up to more than just sitting behind a desk.

Can you post a pic when you get a chance? Low key I just want more pics of that color generally. Such an interesting mix of classic shades

My first choice would be the Bleu De France, if you recall the Leather H Diagonal in Bleu De France came with black hardware. Personally mismatched lugs do not bother me, as long as the band color matches well with the watch color.

Been visiting Taiwan for the last few week and initially purchased the 46mm model with Toile H band during preorder, but the band didn’t wow me in person when it arrived so I returned it after a week, figured I’ll just keep using my Series 6 til I return to Japan and pick up the 10 there. Been keeping my eyes on both Japan and Taiwan’s stock situation and realized you can’t even order the watch with Kilim band in Japan due to stock shortage, and Taiwan’s ETA has been sitting on 3-4 weeks. Then last week Taiwan’s Apple official site suddenly have some watches with Kilim for next-week delivery, so I pulled the trigger on the watch with beton Kilim. Much better looking than anticipated. Glad I returned the Toile H and got this. Also decided to pick up a Twill Jump Single Tour in black/gold from the Hermes online store…

Not sure if I am allowed to ask this here, but if anyone is wanting to sell their Hermes diagonal H band in greyis Meyer (that fits 45mm) or Fauve barenia Clou de Selle (fits 45mm) let me know. Having trouble finding them available and the one band I do see is being listed at $1000

Does anyone know why the Hermes Ultra 2 does NOT come with the orange sport band and seemingly there’s no way to buy this separately?
My best guess is the orange sport band isn’t an “Ultra” band. You can buy it separately from eBay (I recommend chargerstore) or Apple Support. Search the thread for details on the latter

I would use the Marketplace on here, it recently got me a fairly rare Rouge Sellier within a few days.

Anyone have any experience with issues with the orange band? I just got my new Series 10, and the included Hermes orange band is loose on one end and sort-of rattles around a bit. Plus it has a few little dents like this:

Any ideas? I don't really want to have to go through trying to return the whole package just to fix a band. But also don't want to waste time setting everything up if that's the only way.
