At first glance I thought it was the 46mm watch. You may have wait several years for a new case size. Apple always changed case sizes every three years and this is the first year of the 42 and 46mm.
Here’s the Kilim Beton. Does it still look too big on me? I’ve also got Noir

It's hard to tell from photos. Depending on how it's shot, a watch can appear too big.

The shots of the Torsade made the watch look big, the Kilim shots (maybe also because it's a lighter colour) looks fine?

You've got two weeks. Try living with it for a couple of weeks and see if your opinion changes.

I've always preferred smaller watches. Now when I swap my 42mm S10 for my 40mm S4 (for the gym) I notice how tiny the S4 screen is.

I don't know how you do it but you don't get enough credit for the incredible shots of the Hermes Apple Watch that you consistenly post. Your outfits are always perfectly matching and look fantastic. Thank you for always providing such great shots.
Thank you, that's very kind :)

My Grand H arrived, and it's beautiful. It's also thick! My Apple Link Bracelet weighs 55g, this weighs 90g (medium 42mm, with no links removed), so a nearly 65% increase.

I think it looks great. You may have gotten so used to the older model that it takes time to adjust to the new size and shape. Give it that two-week test drive!

That looks gorgeous! — I can’t wait to have one on my wrist, though mine is still in the “processing” zone with the Oct 30 - Nov 6 delivery window.

Yeah, you're right about how the photos are taken. I'll share some of the Noir later today.

With Apple returns - can I actually wear and use it before returning? I just thought you were allowed to open it and that's it.

Lol, I did think that when I had them side to side, especially the bezels

That's very true. I'll see how I get on with both.

I didn't know I could wear it for a couple of weeks before deciding if I want to return it?

14 day return window. You can open it, wear it and test it out.
If you lodge return online at the 14 day mark, you have another 14 days to drop it off at a nominated drop off location.

Just got my Grand H, 46 mm medium, and it fits perfectly without adjustment. For reference, I wear a 45 mm Kilim using the 3rd smallest size.

The weight is noticeable but not bothersome, and the design is very smooth and comfortable. It is much more comfortable than my Apple link bracelet which had some sharp edges to it.

The metal finish is quite reflective, and it looks very nice without being over the top. I’ve attached some photos for reference.

What an elegant and sexy band. Can’t wait for mine next week!

My initial take is that it fits a bit more snugly than other bands. I normally wear my Circulaire H band at the first loop, so I ordered the small Grand H (145-160mm). It does fit, though in retrospect I might have ordered the medium (160-175) and removed two of the links for a bit more room.

That said, it is much nicer looking than the Apple Link Bracelet.

Hi everyone,

Got my very first Hermes AW earlier this week and so far quite happy with it!

I was wondering if there was a way to swap the sport band for a smaller one? I’ve got the M/L model but it’s way too big for me, but I don’t see the option to get the S/M.

Thanks

You could try Apple Support, see if they can do something here.

No idea if it will work, just know that others here have gone to AS for replacement orange sport bands if there were issues with theirs.

Apple doesn’t sell or supply the 46mm hermes sport band in s/m

A few of the noir. To be honest, I’m leaning towards returning them and perhaps buying the jet black to wear for home workouts and gym. When I’m out I usually wear a mechanical watch (photo attached for size comparison)

It starts looking strange when you are in a dark room and you see a very bright object on your wrist.
...sometimes a nice contrast like this one appear very attractive in dark rooms...

back to the initial question: I do like contrasting colors - the white looks very clean and somewhat positive unusual. I own a white sports band from Apple and I like it very much. The nearly white béton looks sporty and nice.
