Thanks, I like the look of the Kilim but since I have 2 other AWs that I will wear more for every day use my Hermes will be for dress up. I am thinking that leather is definitely the way to go hopefully it fits ok with my small wrist.
I am a size 1 (technically 2) in the braided solo loop, and wear my leather band on the smallest hole. It is quite comfortable.

(38mm/40mm/41mm Watch case, for the record.)

So I’ve worn the Grand H honestly by mistake since receiving it as I was tired and forgot to swap it out for one of my sleeping bands, then slept in it. Didn’t notice it was still on for most of the next morning because while it’s the heaviest band available, it’s simply so extremely well balanced with the Watch case now being titanium that I forget it’s there in a way I couldn’t before with the stainless case and the previous heaviest option; the Link Bracelet. I don’t feel the weight as the Watch isn’t constantly trying to travel to the underside of my wrist. Maybe I’ll stop and swap in something else but today is not that day.

Hi, I have been a lurker in here because I plan to treat myself for my big birthday the end of this month and get my first Hermes watch. I have had numerous Apple watches currently have the AW9 SS in slate and the AW10 Gold Titanium. I had planned to get the link bracelet for that but thinking that may never appear from Apple. I have an extremely small wrist size 0 or 1 depending on if it is the 41 or 42 for the single loop bands. I am debating on which band to get I have narrowed it down to Rouge Grenat/Vermillon Twill Jump Arrelage Single Tour if I purchase from Apple Store at Forum Shops in Las Vegas or go to the Hermes store at Wynn Resort and get the 42mm with the Single Tour Etoupe calfskin leather. I am really leaning on the 2nd one. I just think it would look nicer and feel better. I love the new titanum AW10 and how light it is so don't want anything bulky. I originally thought I wanted the Single Tour Kilim but leaning now toward the other two. What would any of you choose?

I purchased the 42mm Hermes watch with the Single Tour leather band in Etoupe and it is beautiful. I haven't worn it as of yet. But I think you'll like both the band and the color. I am now considering one of them Kilim bands. I went back and forth on the Grand H and may get it in the future.

Quick question for those owning a fabric strap (like for example the En Mer I bought or any other). How do they hold up in general after some months of use?

Quick question about removing links on the Grand H. Aren’t there an equal amount of links on both sides, so that removing a single link (which some have done) will result in one side being longer than the other, resulting in the clasp no longer being central under the wrist? Surely it’s either remove no links, or two links, one either side?

Don’t have one myself yet but I think so, as the guidance is to remove two links.

Having said that, there may be some benefit with a lop-sided, if it stops the clasp bashing against your MacBook Pro. (from experience with my hardly-worn-nowadays Omega!).

Hi, I have a series 8 (45mm) Hermes watch, will the lugs on the series 8 fit on the new series 10? I have several straps and hoping they would fit on the series 10 if I upgrade.

Yes there are an equal number of links. It's possible the clasp might not sit flush if you only remove one link.

BTW, I found removing them to be an incredible pain to do. Glad removing two of them was all I needed as I don't want to have to mess with it again.

I'm still not sure on the sizing of the grand H looking at the posts. I have a 7.5 inch wrist diameter, can I pull off a medium for the grand H based on the folks who have theirs? Appreciate it!

Oh, for reference, I wear my Kilim band on the second to the last hole (second from the most inside hole (second tightest fit).

I am 46mm Kilim 3rd smallest hole and 46mm grand h is a great fit. I didn’t remove any links. I could probably remove 1 for a tighter fit but my preference is loose.

I have a 7.5" wrist and I got the large. I removed 1 link on each side and it fits perfectly. I don't like my watch sliding up and down on my wrist and this stays still its not tight, just a perfect fit where I don't even feel its there. I wasn't sure if the medium would be large enough but I knew that I could take links out to make the large fit so I figured I was safer ordering the medium band.

Ah I see. Very helpful thank you!

Darn, I ordered the medium on the Apple Store since that is available to order today, but will cancel then if no one with a wrist that large has a medium that fits them well. I was thinking large also, but I also thought the same for the Titanium Milanese loop, but medium ended up fitting better for me for that one. In the end I passed on the Ti Milanese loop in favor of the grand H as metal band of choice given the reviews on it so far. Was hoping a medium in this would also fit my wrist, perhaps with no links removed.

I wear my Kilim band on the second to smallest hole, so was hoping I can get away with a medium on the grand H.

It may fit, I myself just wasn't sure and thought I should go ahead and order the large just so I knew I could take links out if it was a bit too large. The medium might be a perfect fit without having to remove any links though. Either way, if the medium doesn't fit you the large with 2 links removed will fit perfectly.

That’s exactly where I wear my Kilim and the medium Grand H fit perfectly out of the box. Only downside is I don’t wear my Kilim any more … love the H!

thank you both! That is very helpful. The Kilim is snug but not tight at that second to smallest hole for me. Your endorsement of the grand H further ensures that I will be $1000 poorer in my bank account, lol.

I feel Apple then underestimates the size ranges for any given size (i.e. medium or large in this case). I'll keep my order for the medium then, and if by any chance its too small, then can decide to exchange it necessary. Now I have to just wait till Dec for delivery :\.
