Hi All,
I’ve been a casual reader & fan of this thread for a long time but I finally created a profile because I need some help. To all the Grand H people out there, I finally got mine…! It is a medium for the 46mm Series 10 watch. It turned out to be the perfect size without any need for link removal.

That said, I didn’t even get to make that sizing determination before my problem started – I opened the butterfly clasp, of course, before trying to connect it to the watch. Obviously, connecting one side was easy, but connecting the other meant really uncomfortably almost bending the band to slide the blasted thing into the other side of the watch. I felt like I was bending/damaging it by just connecting it.

Removing the band a few days later was just as painful - the last millimeter or so was agony as I felt like if used any more force I’d break the bracelet entirely. I’m still not sure if I’ve loosened it/damaged it in the process.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is it just me doing something wrong? Does anyone have any advice? Do I have to follow the instructions to detach links and split the bracelet into two halves just to attach and then recombine the bracelet? That’s a royal pain if it has to be done every time…

Furthermore, I could see how this would be a non-issue with the Size Large as the longer the bracelet the easier to bend… but how on earth does anyone who bought a Size Small even get the thing attached to the watch at all? Without removing links and turning the bracelet into 2. I feel like for the Size Small that would have to be the only possible way.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. P.S. Sorry if this has already been addressed somewhere. I've read a lot of this thread but, admittedly, not all!
Just speaking from my experience with the regular Apple link bracelet, I don’t slide/click one end of the band all the way in before equipping the other end. Do a little bit of each end at a time.

I totally get what you're saying, thank you! Still kind of tricky and not as quick/easy as we'd probably like I guess. =/

I’d only slide like 25% of one side in before starting the other side and then once they’re both inserted, start to push them together slowly.

Instructions state you are supposed to add/ remove both side at the same time.

Apple link bracelet official instructions are to break apart the band at one of the removable links and attach each end as two independent parts. Then join them back together once both ends are on.

This is different than the Hermes grand H, which doesn’t easily break apart. So the guidance is both sides at the same time in equal motion.

Have been enjoying the OG Black/gray trial look recently. Pairing with a greyscale Maritime face, to make it a more subtle pairing. Curious if they’ll bring out a Black U3 Hermy this year… this face combo with the current all black trail loop and black casing would be a delight!

How do you get this nice face please ? I only have the black/blue and white/blue and I have never seen this one.
Thanks

Easy fix. Don't push one side of the band all the way in. Push it just a bit in, the slide the other side just a bit in. Then you can slide both of them in easily without any bending of the band or any struggle at all.

There is another possibility. From each side, detach the part that goes into the watch and has the Grand H by separating it from the links. Fit those parts into the watch on each side. Then attach the rest of the band. This is similar to what Apple recommends for the link bracelet. Even with the large, it can be otherwise difficult if you have removed links.
