How about the Ebony band with the deployment buckle. It's $539 though. The Deployment is a cool idea for buckle but you probably want to try it on first to see if it's comfortable for you. You got the multicolor clown so the Ebony would be more subdued, but not boring.

I saw the color in person and wasn't a big fan.

I’d posted these a while back...showing how the deployment sits on a knock-off single tour band I got last year (should be comparable to how the official one sits). My wrists are 165mm.

Will be receiving my Hermès edition today. My question is. I’ve seen where several people posted about the Lte edition not setting up correctly and the phone not working on Verizon carriers. Do I need to completely unpair my old watch first and the set up new watch? Just trying to avoid problems with set up. Thanks.

Unrelated, but what was your original shipping date? Just bought one this morning but it’s saying October 23rd-30th for delivery.

Not the guy you asked, but, I ordered a few hours after pre-orders went live, and got a 10/12-19 window. Late last week that changed to 9/27, then to today 9/25. That said, it's 2 hours from my delivery window and UPS still shows my watch in KY. So unless they can get it to NY in 2 hours, not sure how I'm getting mine today...

Ok cool. I for sure don’t expect it to take the full month apple is saying, but you never know. Seems like past experiences show that it comes significantly early. I’m hoping for next week or the week after

Just ordered my series 4 indigo/carie! Was able to sell my Hermès series 3 with orange sport band for $500 on eBay. Delivery says October 23-30th... but I’m expecting that to be shorter. Anyone else with far away dates see any movement early? So excited!
Congrats mate! I know you’ve been trying to offload the series 3 for a while!

Welcome to the S4 family! ;)
[doublepost=1537905833][/doublepost]
Thank you for that! I went ahead yesterday and took a long trip to the Apple Store which carried and had in stock most if not all the Hermes collection. I ended up with the 44" I had a 42" in the past and I love the way it looked. My wrist is actually 175mm when I measured at the store.

I went with the Rallye Fauve Barenia. Now I am contemplating exchanging it with the Fauve Barenia deployment buckle, the only thing holding me back is that the Rallye has more of a grained leather texture which I like but, the deployment buckle seems to facilitate putting/taking on/off the watch easiest and maybe maintaining the leather better? idk....
Congrats! And great choice!

The fauve rallye in grained texture should last a bit longer than the standard fauve barenia.

I’ve really been enjoying the Hermes indigo band and faces plus the increased performance over my S0.

I also mixed together a midnight blue and white sport band to create a Frankenstein clown sport band. It actually looks really good with the new watch face!
[doublepost=1537914858][/doublepost]Also, here’s a picture of it with the SBSS link band which I haven’t seen on here before. Looks... interesting, but probably not something I’ll wear.

OMG I have never thought of mixing a white and blue sport band to recreate the Hermès clown strap look.

Now I must copy you and get the blue horizon sport band to go with the white one I already have

Nice! Copying as well. I picked up the Midnight Blue band 2 days ago and have white as well.

Well, my excruciating indecision between the 44mm and 40mm sizes may be coming to a conclusion. I picked up a 40mm in fauve leather yesterday, grateful for the 14-day return policy so I can simply take back what doesn’t fit. I’d grown used to the S3 in 38mm, and the 40mm still looks fine on my wrist, even a little more proportional, but now that I’ve grown more accustomed to the 44mm display, everything on the 40 just looks a little too small. Wrist presence: 40 is a bit better. Actual stuff on the display: I’m preferring the 44mm.

If I do stay with the larger one, which came with the indigo band, I’m definitely gonna spring for the fauve strap for the 44mm size soon too. It’s gorgeous and the first I’d worn it in person.

How much too far might the 42/44 lugs stick out if inserted into the 40mm case?

picture anyone?

Does anyone have or had experienced the Feu Epsom Leather Orange band?

Yes. I bought it last year. Looks stunning. Really great. But also very uncomfortable. The Epsom leather is very stiff. Not soft at all.
[doublepost=1537920704][/doublepost]Don’t suppose anyone wants to buy my 42/44mm Indigo Swift strap? Just not loving it. Much prefer my Link strap and the Hermès sports strap. Make me an offer someone!

Grabbed a single tour Fauve Barenia to see if it can convince me to upgrade my Series 3 ceramic...

How are you liking it so far? Roughly how long before the great colour of the band starts to patina darker? I really like how the fauve barenia looks when new...wish I could keep it that way somehow.

I couldn’t locate a pic of that way, but this is the difference of a 38mm strap on a 42mm watch, so instead of being under by that amount, it would stick out by that amount (ie quite a bit)

thank you for perspective. thot worth checking as seems several bands available in only one size.

I had the deployment buckle for Series 2 and shared a few pictures on here to show the patina after a year of daily use. It improves the look I think.

Wearing my Series 3 Ceramic today, I’m alternating lol
