I got the feu Apple Watch Hermès Series 4 Single Tour 44 mm which was already a Hermès store exclusive and now it’s no longer available. Can’t wait to finally receive it!

Is there a good way to „speed up“ the darkening of the Fauve band? In pictures, I like it much better when it has gotten darker as time went by.

Well, I had stains on mine from sweat seeping in the sides, so had to use baby wipes to even things out. Worked a treat to be honest. Obviously, this was an extreme case, better to leave it patina naturally though.

That would certainly be ideal, but my „problem“ is that I have so many Apple Watch straps that I know I wouldn‘t wear the Fauve band very often so it would take forever to get a natural patina.

Well, look into the baby wipe technique, quite a few people talk about it on handbag forums etc...

You can speed up the patina with Hermes Saddle Balm, but it might be unavailable in the US right now. This is the stuff: https://www.hermes.com/au/en/product/saddle-balm-H800327Ev00/

If you do get your hands on some, use a little bit at a time; better to do multiple thin layers than to end up overfeeding the leather and making it floppy or too dark. Also be aware that it looks scary for maybe 24 hours after it's applied. Here's a photo of one of my Barenia handbags with the Balm just applied and then after it soaked in. As you can see, it's alarmingly patchy looking at first, but beautiful afterwards (the striations are inherent in the hide rather than streaks caused by the balm fyi).

If you can't get the Balm, a high-quality product like Skidmore's might work. I wouldn't use baby wipes on Hermes leather personally, but if it works for other people's lifestyles/needs, fantastic. Oh! And always test any product on a hidden area before using it all over. You no doubt know that already, but just in case....

Is anyone elses’s infograph modular showing blank for heart rate graph complication?

SS Gold worked fine, but Hermes labels the space as no data “ one day, 20 hours”. faithfully updates the time since I switched watches.

using modular today to keep up with weather changes.

My Hermès arrived today, but both the single tour and sport band are too big. I was hoping the single tour would fit since it said min was 165mm and I’m 165mm, but it shouldn’t be this loose, right? I can fully move the watch around my entire wrist without undoing it.

So my options are to punch more holes myself or ship it off to have Hermès add more holes...and there are no options for the sport band.

Thoughts?

How far away is the nearest Hermès store?

Any local watch shop you can go to?

I wouldn’t trust myself to punch a hole myself.

The Hermès orange sport band is nice but I use my other colours.

I’ve really been enjoying the Hermes indigo band and faces plus the increased performance over my S0.

I also mixed together a midnight blue and white sport band to create a Frankenstein clown sport band. It actually looks really good with the new watch face!
[doublepost=1537914858][/doublepost]Also, here’s a picture of it with the SBSS link band which I haven’t seen on here before. Looks... interesting, but probably not something I’ll wear.
Dang it now I have to spend another $1000

Are you getting another sports band to create that clown look?

My blue horizon is coming today!

I’m about 850 miles / 1400 km away from the nearest one.

I _will_ be in London though mid-October for work.
Mid October is only a few weeks away. I’d wait and do it in a Hermès store.

Just use your other leather bands until then :)

Which single tour version did you pick up? What band?

I wonder whether Hermes will make bands with hardware to match the gold (bronze) SS4. I like some of their leather straps and they would go well with the new gold SS4, but the silver buckles obviously wouldn't.

Another thing about the single tour...and it’s probably due to the fact that it’s really loose: every time the watch vibrates, the metal clasp makes a louder vibrating metal sound.

Is your wrist actually 165mm?

Mine is 160mm and it doesn’t look as loose as yours if I use the standard smallest hole

Deployment Buckle I use the the very inner hole, and the regular Hermes straps I use the 2nd most inner one. The fit is about the same that way.

Hermes makes very few gold watches, and I think they are plated since they are generally the same price as stainless steel.

I swear when I measured it before it was 165mm...but you had me second guessing myself. So I measured with a different, soft measuring tape and it’s actually 155mm (6”). So that would explain it.
