zero, haven't had one since like 2009. I owned about four different click wheel iPods and one iPod Touch in the time before that though.

Now I just use my phone for music (yay modern smartphones).

Depends on whether the category discussed includes broken or dead iPods (some posters have included them) or not.

I have three functioning iPods, one 64GB iTouch, (four years old) and one 80GB classic, (which is also over four years old but still going strong) both of which are used daily. The third is a brand new iPod classic, bought a little over a fortnight ago, and still in its wrapping, of 120GB, which is destined to replace one of the others when they shuffle off this mortal coil.

At home, an older 30GB iPod classic lies dormant, its demise having occurred over four years ago.

So, three working iPods, and one deceased iPod.

I want to sell most of my ipods and buy an ipod classic, but I am still waiting, MAYBE well get one last update before they kill it?
The minute they kill it im buying two, they should last me a while, I love the clickwheel so much.

I have 5 nanos, each of diferent gen,
2- third gen
3 video ipods
2 shuffles
1 broken 2 gen itouch

So yeah iPods gather, I dont even know how these got here, most I didnt buy.

iPhones/iPads aside:

I currently own two 5th gen nanos, both 16GB-- one blue, one silver.
Previously, I owned a blue 2nd gen 4GB nano (which was stolen; the silver 5th gen was a replacement).

My child owns a 4th gen iPod shuffle and a 3rd gen iPod touch.
My wife owns a 4th gen iPod touch.

2 x iPod Shuffle 1g
1 x iPod Shuffle 2g
2 x iPod Shuffle 3g
1 x iPod Shuffle 4g

2 x iPod touch 2g
1 x iPod touch 4g

11 iPods in total.

I want to start this thread to see how many iPods the average person has or owns.

We'll for me I have 3 iPod touches
A nano and the other iPod with the camera built in. Then I have a old 32gb iPod and my silly iphone.

So I got in total 5 iPods lol I don't use any at all too.

In our household we have...
x1 iPod touch 2g black
x2 iPod touch 4g black
x1 iPod touch 4g white
x1 iPod nano 7g red

Also
x1 iPad 2 black
x1 Apple TV
x2 iPhone 4S black
x1 iPhone 4 black
x1 iPhone 5c blue

I have two.
One 5th gen Video with upgraded HDD to 120gb.
To use on the go. Really like the DAC on this one to use straight with IEMs.
One 7th gen classic to use with my Onkyo ND-S1 at home.

Cheers!

My two computers is a Windows Vista piece of crap and a Macbook Pro 15' 150gb HDD.

Also got some other androids and misc phones/MP3 players. I don't hoard, I fix and sell. :)

I own an ipod touch 4th generation and an ipod shuffle 4th generation. I use to have a ipod nano 3rd generation and an ipod nano 4th generation, and i'm not sure why i sold them.

Own
iPod Shuffle
3rd Gen 8GB Nano

Past
4th Gen 8GB Nano
3rd Gen 4GB Nano
iPod Touch 2nd Gen 16GB
iPod Touch 4th Gen 32GB
5th Gen 16GB Nano

iPhones
Current:
iPhone 4S 16GB Black
Past:
iPhone 4 16GB White
iPhone 4 16GB Black

-160 GB iPod classic 7G, silver - main iPod that goes to work with me or wherever
-160 GB iPod classic 7G, black - lives in my car
-30 GB iPod 5.5G, white - permanently docked in my Bose Sound Dock
-2GB iPod shuffle 4G, silver - workout

I used to have way more but I consolidated them down so I could appreciate them more. Truthfully I could do without the 5.5G docked in my Bose unit, but it's kind of nice to have it there all the time.

I have only 1 iPod, a 30GB Classic which stays in the car and is hooked up to the stereo.

I have my old 2nd gen iPod nano (pink) Never felt the need to buy another since it still works great after all these years.

2 nanos.

The fourth and seventh gen.

I'd like to keep my music separate from my iPhone since my phone's barely lasting an entire day and I only have 16GB capacity.

I also bring both nanos with me for I like my music at 256-320 kbps, which sucks up a lot of battery quickly.
