4 as main computers, an eMac, 12" G4 powerbook, intel Mac mini, and a Macbook air.

I also have 4 or 5 other older mac computers that I got to mess around with and run older software, but were never my main computer.

PowerPC 7200 90 Mhz - secondhand and well out of date when I bought it, but it served me well for a few months. Given away.

iMac indigo slot loading 350 Mhz G3 - my first new Mac and served me very well for about three years then was passed on to my Mother-in-law who used it happily for another couple of years. Sold on ebay for about £30.

PowerBook G4 Aluminum 15" FW800 1 Ghz/2G RAM - still have it, still works.

iMac 3.06 Radeon 4670 - current home machine. Great.

Only one, my MBP 13 inch. I really can't see myself going back to Windows now. Totally converted. :p
But this was a gift and I paid for half of it with some savings I got from a family member, so I have no idea if I'll ever be able to afford another Mac once this one dies. :(

34?

Hard to remember them all- I've equipped my lab with them since the late 1980s. Best guess is 34 or so, not counting iPods. My favorites were the cubes- I have one still that I want to turn into a water fountain someday. There were also a couple of Power Computing clones in there but I didn't count them.

oh my lord! its hideous! must be worth a mint! :D

When it was sold new, Apple would have it delivered by a concierge in a tuxedo and white gloves who would come set it up for you.

Yes, really.

Needless to say, not many sold at first, that was expensive!

They're still worth a mint.

The large cylindrical part is the subwoofer. The computer is completely contained in the main unit with the display. (And it has a vertical CD-ROM drive just under the display.)

3 Macs over 14 years:

Performa 6400 (1996-2003), family machine
eMac (2003-present), family machine
15" MacBook Pro (2006-present), personal machine

Apple must hate me. So few upgrades!

Next year, my 15" MBP will be replacing the eMac as the family machine, and a new 13" MBP for me! :)

It's fun reading about my baby! :)

The Bose sound system is wonderful. As I understand, Bose and Apple worked on the design together.

It's packed in the original boxes right now. No space to display it. :(

Probably near 15 by now.

My first was a mini, when the first intel was introduced.
Then:
Macbook 1.83 CD
5 or so powermac g4s
Cube
Macbook Pro 2.4
Powermac MDD 1ghz
Mac Pro 2.8x8
Macbook Pro 2.0 CD (bought for GF)
Powerbook 12 1.33 x 2

Plus 2 apple tvs, 2 23" ACDs, time capsule, battery charger and every model of iphone near release day.

It seems like whenever I would buy a mac, another one would pop up just a little better or in just a little bit better condition.

Apple ][e (It's not a Mac, but I think it might count nonetheless)
2x Power Macintosh's
Quadra 650
700MHz 12" iBook G3
1.2GHz 12" iBook G4 (How surprising!)
1.33GHz 14" iBook G4
1.42GHz Mac Mini G4
1GHz iMac G4
1.83GHz 17" Intel iMac
2.0GHz Core Duo 15" MacBook Pro
2.2GHz Core 2 Duo 15" MacBook Pro (Replacement)
2.4GHz Core 2 Duo 15" MacBook Pro (Replacement)
2.33GHz Core 2 Duo 15" MacBook Pro
1.6GHz Core 2 Duo 13" MacBook Air
1.86GHz Core 2 Duo 13" MacBook Air (Replacement)

And I love how posting the Macs that you have owned actually means posting all of the devices that Apple makes instead of just the Macs :p

This is fun.

I have had

1) ibook g4 12" (can't remember the spec) bought second hand $750, sold on ebay for $1145 (2005)
2) ibook g4 14" (can't remember the spec) bought new from apple around $1750, sold on ebay for $1500 (2005-2006)
3) Macbook 2.0Ghz bought new from apple around $1700, sold on ebay for $800 (2006-2009)
4) Macbook air 1gen (1.6Ghz 80 Gb) bought second hand $750, sold on ebay for $700 (2009-2010)
5) Macbook air rev C (1.86Ghz 120 Gb) bought second hand $1000, sold on ebay for $900 (2010)
6) going to buy a new Macbook air (1.86 Ghz 4 Gb ram and 128 Gb HD) next week. The reason why I am waiting until next week is that I am going oversea soon and I can claim for both educational price and tax refund for tourist ^_^.

7) iphone 3g (2008-present) wanna get new iphone 4 but decided to buy macbook air first and will buy iphone 5 instead.
