I'll wait until September then buy the latest one, sell the old one. It's what I always do. In fact, I generally buy 2 new phones a year but have stopped buying android so maybe just 1 a year from now on. Unless I buy 2 iPhones again.
I’m just getting the X, my yearly upgrade just came up . I love the red 8+, but decided to get the X. I have to say, I love it. Wish they added product red to it. The size is actually great, I’m sure I’ll be sad in the fall when new phones come out. I usually upgrade launch day.
I was having a new phone itch, which is why I went ahead and got the X.
Call me crazy but I got the itch on getting the SE after a month with X, and a another month with 8. SE size is the best for me as I don’t watch videos or playing games on my phone. Wishing for a bezeless SE. I’d pay $1200 for that.
Yeah but you gave $700 for a phone that was pretty much the same as the others. I mean I have nothen against the 8 by any means. But if you planned on getting the X any time, it would’ve been your best choice to get it versus the 8. Just my opinion tho.I never got the itch. I bought an iPhone 8.
I wanted other people to beta test the iPhone X for me first. It's nice to have willing minions to do your bidding.
Actually, the iPhone X is the first time I’ve felt like I don’t really need to upgrade. But I’m on the iPhone Upgrade plan so I’ll upgrade yearly anyway. I think I’m finally to the point where I’m not excited about upgrades every year because phones have become sufficiently good enough for my expectations. I’m not lacking much.
I think if we don’t see a refreshed iPhone SE launch during WWDC next week, then it’s not going to happen at all for 2018. I think the three iPhones being launched in the fall will be the only iPhone models and the SE might see a refresh in 2019.
I’ll most likely keep my current X. Cause I don’t want a X plus. So if the new 2018 X isn’t any different I’ll have no reason to upgrade.

i got my iPhone X on launch day, so i've been using it for almost 6 months now. honestly i'm getting new phone itch again. can't help myself but checking out the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, P20, Samsung Galaxy S9+ and even the Product Red iPhone 8+ LOL. Apple's fall launch can't come soon enough. how many of you are in the same boat?
Snappier Safari? :OI'm perfectly happy with my X. I'm not sure what could entice me to upgrade.
so much wisdom in so few wordsIf there's one thing that America is really good at, it's marketing the myth.

This "itch" is really about the endless cravings of consumerism. All of these gadgets aren't making us happy. They're just making the chains a bit heavier.
I found out if you reset Face ID and hold it down by your waist while setting it up. It works much better after doing that.Buyers remorse here with the X, mainly due to how frustrating FaceID is, it's so far from being a replacement to touch ID.
Honestly this is the first year I’m entirely content with my phone. The iPhone X really is just a baller ass device. The display is sooo damn good I still get surprised at how good it looks when browsing the internet. Also the best looking phone on the market. Currently I have no desire for a new iPhone but I know when the new devices get announced I’ll want the latest and greatest.

I really don’t understand when someone says ‘buyers remorse’. You’re not forced to keep your iPhone X, you can either pay it off or sell it and find a phone that works efficiently for your needs. I know if I wasn’t completely happy with the iPhone X, I certainly wouldn’t keep it. Face ID excels where Touch ID didn’t. But to each their own.
Yeah but not everyone wants to take the financial hit, and in my case 1 thing i don't like doesn't mean i would get rid of it, nothing is perfect. 8 too small plus too big so i just turn FID off mostly, problem solved.
My first X SG here on release was $1579, sold it a month ago for $1100, got a 2 day old silver for $1,000 with receipt that they paid $1579 for. To sell mine now would be $1050. See the pattern it's about a $5-600 loss too sell now.
Understandable, but I wouldn’t want to keep a phone that makes me unhappy or I’m completely unsatisfied with the biometric form of security. Especially given some don’t seem to trust Face ID or find it reliable, then I would rather take the financial hit and find another phone that I do like. My point is, no one is forced to keep their iPhone when the market is full of options.
