I don't miss Flash per se, but I do miss the ability to watch a lot of web video on my iDevices, such as content on the BBC websites, Stuff.tv, Engadget, etc.

One of the best things about my Droid Incredible (even with just the current FlashLite 4) is the ability to look at many restaurant menus that were unavailable to me on all my other devices.

Looking forward to the full Flash 10 mobile. Might not use it that much, but you know what? I'd rather see some things slowly than not at all.

Can you watch world cup games on http://www.espn3.com on your droid?

Steve is doing the world a favor by single handedly killing Flash and hopefully Adobe with it. IF YOU WANT PORN BUY A POS ANDROID DEVICE.

Holy crap, my phone does porn! SCORE! *frantically scours Android Marketplace*

Not finding much. Meh. I'll just stick with my free, unlimited WiFi hotspot usage from my POS Android phone to stream something saucy while I wait for Froyo.

/feeding trolls makes them go away, right?

I am surprised the other way.

I was not expecting so many sites to have adapted so quickly.
A lot of the places I visit have embedded video - that plays just fine in the iPad browser.

I even saw an animated banner ad yesterday, presumably done in HTML 5. That was perhaps less welcome.

The BBC iPlayer was up and running on the iPad for the UK launch day.

My guess is that almost all serious content providers will have working solutions in place within months, not years.

Sure, there will be some Flash die hard dinosaurs. But there are still sites with Real Player on them. Remember that?

However you should be able to view all the videos through the YouTube app

No you can't. Huge amounts of YouTube videos never appear on the iPhone/iPad app. Pretty much no content partner videos or items from the YouTube Shows section are available, as almost all the contracts require YouTube to serve the content via RTMPE which is a Flash only protocol.

Certainly on my iPhone I come accross a site where something is broken due to the absence of Flash that I wanted to see *at least* every day. It's a major issue.

I've only surfed to one site where it told me I needed flash. I think I followed that link by accident. I don't miss it.

I dont miss it either, 99% of the time. In fact i like how it means i got a lot less ads, and faster page loads. Occasionally there's a video i'd like to see thats flash only, but with more and more HTML5 versions of sites running alongside the flash version i see this less and less often.
