A similar subsidized Mobile Share Value Plan costs just the same on AT&T. Do you upgrade your iPhones every 2 years or shorter? If so, just stick to unlimited. After taxes, you'll still end up paying around $600 per month.

What I do is my wife and I upgrade every year also a 3rd line alternates between my step son and our business partner, it doesn't bother him if he has the latest, like this year he went from a 4 to a 5s.
So I use 3 upgrades 1 year, then 3 of the other phones get hand-me-downs, next year I use another 3 upgrades, the other phones get the previous phone. So all of our lines are either 5s's or 5, next upgrade the 5s's go to 6 the people with 5 get the 5s and the 5 gets sold on Craigslist or Gazelle.

We've done this since iPhone 1, prior to that were Palm Trio.

2 iPhones, unlimited (unthrottled) data for each line, unlimited MMS/SMS, 1600 anytime minutes, unlimited M2AM, and unlimited nights/weekends starting at 7. Total before taxes is 129.99, after is 145.

Past

Att

2 Iphones with 1200 minutes and each line 2.5GB LTE was $130 with city discount of 18% per moth.

Present

Net10

2 Iphones everything unlimited on each with 2.5GB of LTE after that is unlimited 3g which works fine for pandora and spotify.
$48.95 line 1
$43.48 line 2

after taxes.

just moved my ATT family plan to mobile value share. 145 for 10gb, 3 lines, unlimited talk/text. i get an 18% discount waiting to see what the final price is, should come about to around 140ish after tax

Verizon, iPhone 5S, unlimited everything (grandfathered in to no monthly cap), $50.00 a month.

$55 Month

Unlimited, anytime nationwide minutes
Unlimited outgoing and incoming nationwide text messages
2 GBs of LTE data

With Virgin Mobile on a 64GB Unlocked iPhone 5S

ZERO per month

Cellphone contracts are a pure rip-off in Canada. I just get in range with an unlocked wi-fi network and I call for free with MagicJack.

Loyalty plan. They give it out to many people. I just asked if they had any new prices for two lines.
How does that break down (how much for the plan, how much for each phone, etc.)?

Too expensive.
Currently iPhone 5 16GB, on Unlimited Minutes and Texts with 1GB 3G for £38 ($63) a month.
Phone was free though so thats kinda cool. Stupidly lacking in data though, I easily hit 900mb a month and don't have iTunes match using cellular data.

EDIT: On O2 UK

Thanks! I will look into that.

Unless I'm misreading it, it looks like you have 3 phones. If you go with Tmobile You could get unlimited talk+text for all lines, plus 2 lines of unlimited data and 1gb for your "dumb phone" for 150, or 170 if you added insurance (JUMP) to the two lines that have it. Thats a pretty significant savings, especially if you're able to use your old phones. At 60-80$ of savings a month, that's something I would look into. Of course this all dependent on your area and needs, but worth a look nonetheless :)

That sounds like a great deal of savings..

Is that with some sort of a discount?

No it's just $60 per line. Google Verizon loyalty plan. Lots of people talk about and have it. I have been with them for 14 yrs so that probably helps. I can't use my corp discount with it but it's still better.

I guess that's part of their new loyalty plans. I remember those usually being limited in minutes/messages/data, and haven't quite heard that they started doing ones with unlimited minutes and even unlimited messages, but that's good to know.

Free.

I work for T-Mobile and work in an area that tests mobile devices so I have unlimited data on the phone as well as my Nexus tablet (currently testing a new build).

I average 3GB a month so I don't need the 'unlimited' data but it's paid for so I can't complain.
