Ah. I gotcha. I'm outside of the 14 days now. I'll have to sell it on Swappa if I don't keep it. As I'm currently fighting between it and my 6s Plus.

That might even be the better plan! Just looked and seems they are going for about retail price. Hmmmmm, might wait for my SIM now and if it doesn't work, then just go Swappa. I bet that will be better than HTC return for many reasons.

Oh and looks like folks on XDA are starting to get their free gift..... an USB C Cable. YAAaaaaaaaa

Yeah. I can pretty much get what I paid for it from Swappa. Just can't. Quite. Make. Up my mind on what phone/platform to use. iOS and Apple is the smart move. Android and Google is where my heart is.

I got a shipping notification this morning. Man, it's seriously a cable?! Not even like a full charging brick or anything?!

Haha, I really like this ;)

Thanks! That's honestly how I feel. I used BlackBerry before Android, but Android is where I really got interested in smartphones, probably back in 2011 or so. When I go back to it, it feels like home. But it is also frustrating. So many options, each seemingly with their own set of issues. And there just isn't that one Android device to rule them all. With iOS and Apple you know what you're getting. You get top of the line build, a great app ecosystem, a VERY well functioning device without (or with very little) glaring issues, and GREAT support from the company. It just tends to bore me after awhile. But my life is busy enough as it is, and adding in constantly fiddling/swapping phones is just not meshing well with my lifestyle at the moment. So I'm torn.

Battery now it's settled into routine.

21+ hours on battery.
Just under 5 hours SOT with 10% remaining.

Looks like I'm going to be the only one holding onto theirs at this rate. I'm happy with it anyway.
If I hadn't received a lemon, in which the touch screen was unusable, I would of kept mine.

If there replacement process had been what it was promised I would of kept the replacement. But after a few days of "it will be there tomorrow", yet no sign of a shipment....I couldn't keep waiting.

I am happy I got a nexus 6p for the great price I did.

I am eager to see what the HTC nexus has to offer. I hope it offers enough to tempt me from the 6p, because the HTC 10 is a great phone. It is my favorite phone from 2016.

Finally got some hands-on time with this device. Not much I can add that hasn't already been said. Nice, solid, well built, good looking device. The giant chamfered edges really aren't as dramatic as pictures make them out to be in person. They are quite nice. And kudos to that textured power button.

Software looks nice, but not really my cup of tea from what little I played with it. Couldn't really test or do much else.

As I've said before, it looks like the HTC 10 is the perfect counterbalance option to the S7/Edge. Basic and well done, with no real crazy bells or whistles. Two great flagship options in the Android space.

EDIT: And yes, still very much looking forward to the HTC Nexus.

Well I received my 64 gig HTC 10 yesterday. Came with the HTC earbuds, which I still have wrapped up as I'm using other earbuds at the moment. The 10 puts out some pretty good sound, BTW.
Very nice phone. Actually liking the size of it; my last two phones were an iPhone 6 Plus and a Nexus 6P so it's kind of different having a handset I can fit in the pocket of my favourite jacket and have it securely snapped in (the other two would protrude out of the pocket).
Although I have the aluminum/aluminium back the front is white (I would have preferred the front being black but this is an Asian import).
I'm using the Spigen Neo Hybrid bumper style premium case, which is nice, but the tempered glass screen cover I have fits very poorly. The edges all the way around just won't stick properly. Anyone know of a tempered glass screen protector for the 10 that fits well?
Anyway, quite happy with this purchase. :)

Go look over at the XDA forums. There is a big topic on tempered glass screen protectors. Last time I checked, there wasn't a good option....yet.

It's not so beautiful on a miserable winters day, but when the weather is nice there really are some magnificent spots. Even the Atlanitc Dolphins were jumping in the sea this morning as o was walking on the beach. Will be doing Skellig Michael again soon so will get some pics there. (Location of final scene of StarWars Force Awakens).

Haha, I can understand that. It's still a lot nicer than anything we have here in the Southern part of Illinois. I gotta see some pics of that - let us know if Mr. Skywalker is still out there.

He was back there a couple weeks ago and i believe he's finished now. It was all in the local newspapers here (nothing too exciting happens here so it was big news) and pictures of him in the bars around Dingle. There is a video of Chewbacca making a local pitstop at one of the National (Primary) Schools too and the kids going mental :) Tourism is big business here in Kerry so StarWars has been great.
